Florida Atlantic University is best designed for students that like a small town. Being that Boca Raton is a retirement city, nightlife is somewhat limited. Boca Raton is easy to navigate and is a beautiful city. The university itself is not big on athletics. People who are looking for big football teams and lots of school spirit wouldn't enjoy FAU. However, the academic advisors are lovely, as are the staff of the school cafeteria.

Florida Atlantic University has a variety of students from distinct ethnic backgrounds. Here, you find yourself surrounded by different kinds of cultures, beliefs, values and interests. I personally believe that any kind of person should be able to attend this institution. Not only does this school offer several areas of interests, but it also has numerous students under each branch of study, helping each student socialize with people who share their same values, beliefs, cultures and interests. At FAU, there is plenty of everything for everyone, no matter where one comes from, or what one believes in.

The kind of person who should attend my school is determined and goal oriented. The teachers work hard to see that you understand the material, and the advisors do an outstanding job with steering you in the right direction. Anyone attending my school has to want to be successful. The people at Palm Beach State College believe in you, so you must believe in yourself.

FAU is really suitable for any kind of student. It's not too big or too small, it focuses on having upgraded technology & resources for students, its student body is very diverse, its teachers know the material they teach & enjoy teaching (for the most part), and it is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) state university in Florida. There are really no major complaints I can think of.
