Describe the students at Florida State University.

Amy

When I step back and think about my forty thousand classmates here at Florida State University many things come to mind they are all intelligent, driven, and very school spirited however one idea seems to stick out in my mind and that would be that each class contains a diverse group of people from every walk of life each bringing their own unique characteristics to the table.

Courtney

Very inquisitive and open minded for the most part. Sometimes attitudes are attacking towards others beliefs (especially in religion classes) but the professors do an excellent job of reminding students of the scholarship of the study of religion, the objectiveness in which we must view it in a university setting, and invite tolerance of opinions. Very diverse cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities, social/economic status in the students. Very good environment for discussions of ethics, culture, etc.

Jessica

For the most part students are helpful and friendly. From being a freshman everyone learns the art or benefit of making a new friend. Tallahassee is a small city so the best thing to do is make lots of friends you can have game night with.

Cassandra

My classmates are very unique and diverse and you could decribe many of them as being artistic.

Paula

My classmates are determined to pursue their career goals.

Pilin

Most of my classmates are kind, caring and tolerant of others opinions.

Kathryn

My classmates are friendly and helpful if I fall behind.

Kaley

Classmates are very diverse, and tend to enjoy on-campus activities, especially FSU athletics, which is very popular. There are many students who want to learn, but also many who want to party, so finding reliable study buddies sometimes requires you to be selective of your peers.

Sandra

My classmates can be strangers to me at times. The classes are huge so it's difficult for discussions or one-on-one interactions.

Sophie

Some are really friendly and some are not, it depends on the person and the class.
