My school has a beautiful campus and amazing food. The people here are all very cheery as well!

I would brag about ISU's contributions to research and innovation. The Ames Lab is located on campus and is responsible for nuclear innovations, nanotechnology, computers, adhesives, fuels, and much more. George Washington Carver is an ISU alumn and is responsible for many peanut related inventions. Iowa State also holds claim to the creation of the first digital computer.

I brag about school spirit on campus. It is very clear when you walk on campus that everyone here loves ISU. I also brag about the willingness of faculty on campus to help when I need help. For example when I need help finding a building I have never heard of. Most of all I brag about the people I have met here at Iowa State University. People I have met and encountered are people that I will be friends with for life.

Many of my friends attend schools where it is difficult to get involved in activities around campus. At Iowa State it is quite the opposite. There are so many activities that you have to pick and choose a few of the many you are bound to find interesting. There is never an excuse to be bored here because there is always something to be doing. You just have to find the courage to get out there, step outside of your comfort zone, and experience something new and interesting.

I usually brag about how inviting the campus is, all the activities that happen on campus, and about how easy it is to meet new people and how almost everyone is friendly at Iowa State University.

I brag most about our basketball team... But for more professional stuff I brag about how good I feel about the oppurtuinites I'm going to have after graduation. I feel my school is preparing me so well for what "comes after." There are so many things I can currently do on campus to help me once I graduate.

I always tell my friends how willing the teachers are to work with you. This school is academically demanding, but your teachers are always willing to help. If you don't understand a lesson or assignment, they are always available during their office hourse. If you cannot meet during office hours, they will go out of their way to make sure that you can find a time to meet. They take great pride in ensuring that EVERY student is learning.

How prestigious and amazing the Design program here is. I brag about how great the teachers are and how much they teach you here in just the first year of design.

I tend to always bring up the convenience of the campus layout as well the beauty of the campus when talking about college with high school friends. Since many of us have vastly different majors, talking explicitly of subjects does not always happen. But often I enjoy bragging about the colors seen on campus during the fall and how nice it is to not have to walk too far between classes due to the closeness of the engineering buildings on campus.

I like to brag about all of the opportunities to meet new people that are similar to you and also to network with people who will have the same career path as you. Also I like to brag about how Iowa State is a leader in agriculture and holds the nation's biggest career fair.

When I talk to my friends about Iowa State University, I tend to immediately recognize the atmosphere of the campus along with the comfort of the classrooms. Ames Iowa is a place where people can feel at home; the residents are very welcoming and helpful with the student body, the professors truly care about each individual student, and the students are well-mannered and are, in general, great people to be around. When I think about Iowa State, the learning and living environments that are provided are the most positive and reassuring aspects of the university.

The faculty at Iowa State is so friendly.

I've had great experiences with the Honors Program, particularly the First-Year Mentor Program, which matches freshmen in the Honors Program to professors looking for undergraduate research assistants. I'm involved in research as a freshman, and many universities don't have research opportunities available for underclassmen. The Honors Program is also a great way to meet people.

I tell my friends how great the people on campus are and the endless opportunities for students. Although Iowa State has a large student body, the faculty and environment really help to make you feel at home when you are on campus. I am so glad I chose Iowa State University.

What I brag most about my school is how welcoming and nice everyone is from professors to fellow students when I transfered here I was made to feel right at home which isn't common at such large universities.
