The worst thing about Kutztown University is the internet connection. The wifi is down on a daily basis making it hard to find a stable connection to do school work. My professors always remind us to connect to a landline while taking tests to ensure that our work won't be lost when the wifi goes down.

The worst thing about my school is the whole meal plan deal. Your daily meal swipe includes $4.95 per meal. Your meal can total up to $8.75 and you have to get the rest of the money from your flex. I just feel as though all of your meals should just be $4.95. It shouldn't have to roll over to your flex because you only receive $200 in flex per semester.

I would say that the worst thing about Kutztown University is the lack of student togetherness. The students rarely come together as a collective group for things like sporting events or pep rallies, etc. Students do show up for these events, but rarely act as one unified force. It's understandable because Kutztown isn't a huge school, and besides Rugby our sports teams are not overly notable, but it would be cool to be able to come together and have pride in our school, like larger universities do . Kutztown lacks a strong sense of pride and spirit.

I think the worst thing about our school is that, although we have a beautiful campus, there isn't a lot to do close in the vicinity for college students. We have a small downtown but otherwise we have to travel to find other things to do on the weekends.

The worst thing about my school is the system of transportation. I am sure this is an issue with many schools as well as mine. I will fully acknowledge how lucky I was to be able to have a car on campus during my freshman year. However, it was limited to one parking lot, which was a fifteen-minute walk from my residence hall.

There isn't too much about Kutztown University that I can say I don't like. The school itself is amazing, although, the town can be a little boring. It is a cute little town with a good amount of stuff to do, and good places to hang out. With that said it can sometimes get a little repetitive. All in all the school is great place, it's just the town that can be a little boring at times. Except you just have to make the best of it.

The worst thing, in my opinion, is that the school is known as a "drinking school". There are plenty of bars in the town and also plenty of crimes committed nearby. Everyone assumes that if you go to this school you are a drinker.

The worst thing about my school is that it is hard to find out what is happening on campus. Many times I don't find out about an event until it has started or after it is over.

The worst thing I have encountered at my school is the architecture; nearly every academic and dorm building on campus is just a hollowed brick block. There is barely any imagination to the buildings, and the only flair of personality that the architects embedded in their designs is with the Grim Science building. I like the school and the people, but the buildings make me feel like I?m living in a Soviet era city.

Kutztown University, in my opinion, is an excellent school for anyone pursuing a degree in Education, but the Education program itself often seeks to intimidate those seeking a career in teaching. Rather than congratulating studsnts on their choice of major, they offer lectures on how such a career choice will hinder many life choices. The professors can also often be unfeeling or apathetic or difficult to cooperate with, but the majority of the staff is friendly and amiable.

Important academic information like when to register for classes or when drop/add ends isn?t clearly conveyed by the school. You often find out through classmates and panic sets in.

That a lot of people go home on the weekends. It hard to get close to people who are not there all the time

that it is in the middle of nowhere and can get kinda boring at times

You have to drive atleast 30 minutes to get to a mall.

I wish they would communicate just a little bit better but thats about it.

It is very expensive to out of state students and there are no grants availible and i didn't recieve financial aid.

I consider the worst thing about my school to be the rules reguarding visitation within the dorms. I feel that out of most colleges Kutztown has one of the strictest policies. I feel that college is about growing, learning how to be an adult, and experiencing things for youself. By having such strict policies it's not really allowing students to grow and learn from their mistakes; it holds them back from becoming more responsible for themselves and their actions.

The fact that the lack of funding and regulation is leading to a more and more bloated student population. This leaves room for lesser qualifications, and bigger class sizes, not to mention the increase in prices of various things. Also, it fills up and overflows into the community, taking most of the jobs up that are in town and at the school.

Too much alcohol consumption.

I think the food is overpriced and limited. Limited meaning the students do not get a well enough quantity based on how much they pay for it. Some of the food does not seem to be completely adequate either.
