There are alot of students who do not feel safe. I rarely see security at the early morning hours and i feel like alot of crimes could be prevented.
jennifer
the fact that they accept so many people that they built a rediculusly large residence hall and now the average class size has trippled. it is hard to get the class you need to graduate and i feel very crampt in this small environment. it is hard to get any loans and financial aid, there is one lady that is mean as anything in the office and i will avoid is as much as i can.
Sarah
Size of population and difficulty getting the classes you need.
Jessica
The food because there is not a lot of variety so once you are here for a year, you get used to the food and no longer want to eat it.
Krystina
The meal plans are very cut and dry. There is no flexibility for those students who have what is considered to be a less favorable meal plan. Also, the food is not the greatest in the world.
Robert
It is rather liberal and sometimes the artsy crowd can get annoying. It is getting a little bit to big also and they get annoying with their constant push for "diversity". Sometimes their is a point where too many Philly kids means too many Philly kids.
Jeni
Meal plans and housing policies. The food is disgusting and you are for the most part requried to buy a meal plan even if you don't use it. Housing policies like visitation policies are just stupid, especially when you are 20 and cannot have visitors but on weekends. If i wanted house rules, i would live at home. back at the meal plans? there is almost NO way to not have to buy a meal plan. even if you show you do not use it at all. the policies are too strict on somethings and too lax on others.
Aimee
The faculty and staff are very inconsiderate to students and don't care how their students perform
Thomas
The amount of people who don't seem to care about the lectures/professors while in class.
Ian
That everyone still has some of that high school angst left in them, so there's still a whole lot of drama.
Amanda
The dining hall services are terrible. I feel that the food is very unhealthy, and I am at times unsure if it is cooked properly.
Nicole
The food. The food on campus doesn't have enough variety.
Lindsay
how we register for classes stinks.
James
How people view our school as a place full of binge drinkers and partiers. It's not nearly true. Although I commuted my first year I have many friends who live on campus and spent plenty of time there myself and I can comfortably say 95{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the student body either doesn't drink or drinks responsibly and legally.
Sarah
Kutztown is a small remote, old town, so sometime there is not that much to do outstide of campus. Driving is a must for many essentials like groceries and school supplies that can't be found in the bookstore.
Heather
The worst thing about Kutztown University is that occasionally people take for granted that not all students live on campus or right inside the Kutztown area. There aren't always considerations for those that have to drive an hour or more to classes and events.
Heather
The worst thing about my school is that people don't get involved in the hundreds of clubs they offer. They have so much to offer to the students to get them involved and they get involved with things that they shouldn't be doing like drugs and alcohol.
Jennifer
all ne new construction that they are doing to improve the campus. In the long run its nice but the new residence hall is becoming such a hasstle
