I wish the prices of textbooks weren't as high as they are.

Guidance counselor is terrible-she has too many students to worry about. Sometimes really difficult to get into classes needed for a specific semester in order to be on track for your program/graduation

There are too many people, so the food common are over crowded and it is hard to get into the classes that are needed.

The price! Penn State is VERY expensive and offers very little financial aid for its students! It definitely keeps people from attending there, and I think that is very unfortunate.

The worst thing about the school would be the amount of student football tickets that are given out. There are too man stuidents and not enough football tickets

There is no worst thing about my school. As long as students enter with a good attitude and are self-responsible they will encounter few problems.

The financial aid and scholarship funding program isn't the best especially for out-of state students life myself. Due to the fact the school is so large and a state school they do not offer that many scholarships unless you play a sport for the school. Other than that, Penn State is a wonderful place to learn and grow socially and educationally.

The only negative thing I could say about Penn State is that it is very large, and sometimes the amount of people can be a burden. I thoroughly enjoy attending a large university but numbers become a problem for things such as parking, housing, athletic events, food services, etc. Students attending here should be prepared to wait in line for mailing a letter, getting food, and attending various events.

There is nothing bad about Penn State. The worst thing would have to be the huge classes and the amount of work that there is to do. Even though there is a lot of work, you learn a lot and the workload will help out a lot in the future.

I sometimes feel that the school is too big. Coming in as a freshman I was completely overwhelmed and did not know where I fit it. It took me about a year to truly figure out what I wanted from Penn State and that is when I got heavily involved in my professional business fraternity. So all in all, the size of the school may be considered a bad thing.
