The school spirit here is unmatched...we LOVE the Orange!

Rebecca

It's in a large enough city to do things outside of campus, but not too large to lose that campus feel.

Katherine

My school is very diverse. I like the number of international students. There is a lot of school spirit especially during basketball and lacross season.

Katie

The weather here is always rainy, cloudy, or snowing. There are a lot of people who go to the school but it seems as though you can't go anywhere without seeing someone you know. A lot of intro classes and popular majors have really large classes but smaller majors and upper level classes are much smaller. There are lots of activities available to participate in at the school but you really need to seek them out on your own.

Dorothy

My school is not necessarily unique from all the other schools I considererd, it is the perfect size, it has beautliful builidngs, friendly faculty, and a diverse community, it has a little bit of everything, and allows everyone to stay well rounded.

Jeffrey

Our basketball games are very fun. Many students come out and support the team with school spirit.

Katie

Our school is great because there is lots of on and off campus housing. Off campus housing is really close to campus and many juniors and seniors live off campus. The weather is awful, but everyone still makes the most of it. You can walk from one end of campus to the opposite in ten minutes, and there are buses that run regularly, even on weekends. There's a large greek life but you aren't a nobody if you're not in it. On any given day you will see at least ten people wearing orange.

Kaled

The fact that is the leader in community development around the city of Syracuse and its role supporting that city.

Kristian

The Performance Arts College is very well known

Jessica

Syracuse is a middle sized school, with the look and feel of a larger university. You can find just about any major and all sorts of different people. The school has a little bit of everything, solid academics, Big East sports, strong greek life and countless extracurricular opportunites. The community is very involved with the school, everyone just loves CUSE!

joomi

very diversed and people are very nice and sweet in general. Everyone gets along very well

Courtney

Syracuse has an unbelievable communications program, which is why I first became interested in applying there. There is a very impressive alumni list as well. I feel confident about my future when I see the names on that list. Knowing extremely successful people attended the university I attend gives me some peace of mind when thinking about the tuition costs.

Skylar

I hated my first semester at SU. It was big and felt displaced. By my second semester, however, I loved SU. I came to like the freedom that SU's size allows me and I love my major, my professors, and my friends. I like that I can wake up one morning and start a club or a volunteer program. I like that there is always something going on. You can be a normal person at SU, we just keep a low profile. If you can get past the sorority girls you'll be fine. If you are a sorority girl you may die of joy.

Natalie

Syracuse is worth every penny.

Joe

Syracuse is the shit! Atleast visit and you'll see what im talking about! Beware, the winters are horrific-it gets so cold and wet and gross, but its worth it in the end and by spring you will be sunbathing on the quad cuz it gets close to 76-80 degrees!!

Jen

Syracuse is amazing. You will absolutely love it.

Robin

SU is what you make of it but I can say that it's been an awesome place to go to college.

Dawson

Be prepared to put up with a lot of incompetent professors. There are amazing ones, but Syracuse is more focused on how published its professors are and what kind of respect they command than whether or not they actually know (or care) about how to teach.

Lisa

Syracuse really pushes study abroad. The program is a little disorganized at time, but they get everything accomplished (so really, it prepares you well for studying in countries like France where everyone is disorganized.) Despite a little disorganization, study abroad gives students an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. It was amazing. Again, the honors program is outstanding. It isn't easy to get in to, but for students like me who came to Syracuse as a safety school, it really makes the academic experience more than worthwhile.

Blake

There is nothing I can tell anyone that they couldn't or wouldn't find out for themselves. A year at the school will teach a person a lot about others, themselves and the world.
