I went to a very conservative Christian high school, and everyone there told me that I was off to join the "steers and queers." There seems to be a consensus among certain crowds that we Longhorns are a bunch of pot-smoking hippies.

Since it's a big-ten school, it's all about sports-sports-sports. The undergraduate classes are huge because there's such a high population.

That we're obnoxious larger than life people (moreso about fans at our games). It just comes with going to the largest school in Texas.

there is a clear cut separation between the groups and not alot of intermixing because the university is so large. THus, people just stick with their affiliated "group" that they join whether it be a fraternity/sorority, honors club, big student organization, ethnic or cultural specific club, friends on hall in dorm, etc.
