This University spends a lot of time with every class of new students to make sure that they are willing to accept other people regardless of their race, ethinicity, and financial background so the diversity and friendship level amongst the student body is high. Anyone and everyone is welcomed to this school. There are no Medical schools around here so people interested in being able to Medically research should chose a medical school city.

The University of Texas at Austin is so large and diverse that any prospective student is bound to find another individual who will share many of the same interests or opinions that he holds. If you are not able to find other people who you feel comfortable with, there are many advisors and counselors who are available to help you adjust to the university.
