This school is not for the more "cut throat" student. As a class base, students don't find weakness in asking other students for help and there's never any shame in helping. Students can actually preceptor, or TA, a class while in it allowing them to help fellow students learn as they learn. This bridges the gap between student and professor a little more. So a student very self focused and self taught might find themselves out of water here.

Those who shouldn't attend the University of Arizona are people who are more serious about their social life than their academic responsibilities.

A person who is dependent on individualized attention and follow-up, or who wants each and every professor to remember your name, or cannot say 'no' to overcommitment or socializing is advised not to attend this school as it can be very big and impersonal.

If a person does not prefer warm weather or a desert enviroment, then they should not attend this school.

I feel that people who need a lot of one-on-one time with the teacher would not do well at this school. The teachers do not take the time to attend to the student's needs. Therefore, I have learned over the years, that you must teach yourself the material and not rely on the teachers for any help. Most of our classes are large lecture classes that would not be beneficial to someone who prefers small classes which would provide more interaction with the professors.

The kind of people that i believe that should attend are the people who are not ready to learn and be open to anything that comes their way.

Anyone with any personality should attend, we dont discrimanate.

People only looking to party. People not serious about school. People who are annoyed by school spirit.
