I would say UCF is best known for being a new school that has sky rocketed into one of the largest universities in the nation.

UCF is affiliated with Disney, and we have a huge engineering department. I remember touring the campus, and a big seller was when I saw all the cool things the engineering students had made that were on display in a science building.

My college has a lot of school spirit. We manage to get everyone involved in every detail whether it be from homecoming to bands performing in on Greek Row.

Our school is best known for it's population and location. We are a school of more than 50,000 students and we are located in Orlando, Florida which everyone knows because of Disney.

For being a commuter school. Most students live nearby or live off campus because there is not enough housing on campus

The student body is very liberal and diverse, the teachers are engaging, and there are a huge variety of extra-curricular activities to engage in. Not to mention its right next to disney.

My school is best known for it's various career opportunities, connections, and last but not least, it's constant growth. UCF is referred to as "Under Construction Forever" because there is always something new being built. They're also known for there great academics and competitive nursing program. They are very proactive with the community and environment and also has a lot of social events.

The University of Central Florida is also known for its connection with its community. Orlando is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation and UCF has the opportunity to allow students to get involved and get real-world experience.

To me, my school is best known for diversity. Of course all schools have diversity, but UCF embraces it, and makes it known to celebrate and love who and what you are. I believe it helps us get in touch with our nationalities as we learn and understands other's culture and background.
