University of Central Florida Top Questions

Universtiy of Central Florida is most known for being the third-largest growing univeristy in the US by enrollement.

I would say our school is best known for our academics in the college of business and engineering.

My school is best known for thier new medical school, as well as having a successful engineering college and big business deptartment. The school has been growing rapidly over the past few years and the addition of the medical school will complete a big part of what UCF can offer in years to come.

Well UCF used to be FTU and FTU was for science majors so this school has an excellent science foundation and is always productive on making the school more modern, they are actually currently buliding a physical science building along with other projects.

UCF is best known for it's Engineering, Nursing, and Science programs. However, the College of Arts and Humanities (Humanities, Philosophy, and Religion tracks in particular) are of utmost quality. There are a wide array of majors and courses to choose from, all of which are taught by well-educated and personable professors.

As a party school, it's very large, there isn't enough parking. The advisors aren't helpful, the offices are ran by students, you get the run around for every bit of info you ask for. I'm currently arguing in transfer credits, and for my COA to be adjusted from 14 cr hours to 17 which i am taking, I dont have enough financial aid, and am cut off my by current COA limits, because they are set to a lower standard than what I'm taking to graduate.

Its best known for being a party school and a research type of school.

The University of Central Florida doesn't have a star football team, although we did go to a bowl game this past season but what we do have is outstanding academics. Our academics are comparable with that of the best known Florida schools, such as the University of Florida. We have amazing Business, Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Communication programs that are known and trusted by employers.

The University of Central Florida has become more recently known for its size, with a steady growing population, placing among the top five universities in the nation in size. Despite the size of the school, UCF provides such individual treatment that the students remain happy. Students at UCF are known for their spirit. We have great sports teams, but despite the losses, the student body reigns constant support. The University of Central Florida is known for its pride.

I beleive UCF is best known for it's success in producing well qualified graduates in the fields most in demand, nursing and education. In my area, education, I know that UCF produces more teachers for the state of Florida than any other university. This is something to be proud of, knowing that my university is so influencial in educating our young people and preparing them for the future.

Seminole State College is best known for 'be yourself, only better.' I think that statement sums up why students choose starting off at my school rather than a four year university. For example, tutition is not as expensive as starting off at a four year institution. Students can still work full-time to pay for school and have money to pay bills without taking out loans. Seminole State College offers a variety of different courses as you continue to seek a bright future.

Being very large, having many extracirricular clubs, being very multicultural, and having many associations with local businesses.

Not too sure. I am attending do to the proximity to where I live and the ability to attend a campus in town versus driving to college or relocating.

I believe the University of Central Florida is best known for the opportunities that it presents to all students. The environment of the campus and faculty assists students with transitioning from high school to college and from college to real world careers.
