The students at the University of Denver live and breath hockey. At the beginning of the year, there is a massive campout at the ritchie center for season tickets. The air is ripe with this excitment during the week preceding the first hockey match. Every student who can go, dresses up in school colors and go to cheer our fellow students. The fact that the Denver Pioneers are well known is a source of pride for every student who goes to the University of Denver. All the students are true fans of the team and show it.
