My fellow students and I at the University of Denver, to necessarily generalize, are intellectual, adventurous, optimistic, slightly vanilla, receptive, principled, curious and hungry for more.

Typical classmates at DU are highly intelligent and driven individuals from prestigious backgrounds, but focus alot on the college social life.

My classmates at The Women's College at The Universtiy of Denver are mostly made up of untraditional students, women that have chosen to return to college. Most of us are professionals with a great deal of work and life experience. Because of this experience, students at TWC have amazing conversations and discussions make class time a rich and fulfilling experience. Professors enhance the experience by maintaining structure and sharing additional information. The women at TWC are supportive, enjoy working together, and easily become life-long friendships.

The students at the University of Denver live and breath hockey. At the beginning of the year, there is a massive campout at the ritchie center for season tickets. The air is ripe with this excitment during the week preceding the first hockey match. Every student who can go, dresses up in school colors and go to cheer our fellow students. The fact that the Denver Pioneers are well known is a source of pride for every student who goes to the University of Denver. All the students are true fans of the team and show it.

My classmates enjoy spending time going to concerts and in the mountains at cabins and condos skiing.

The students at the University of Denver are those who are fueled and inspired by people, both in a social sense and in the sense that they believe it is their duty as students to better society and thus, these young adults are committed to an education process that will allow them to do so in the future.
