One of the unique features of U of L is that it does a great deal of work for the community around it and is at the cutting edge of current educational technologies. It also has a wonderful sports progam, is located in a medium sized city, and the campus has a wonderful feel about it.

The most unique aspect of the school is the people. The city of Louisville has a big city feel with a hometown atmosphere. The warmth and sincerity of the school community made attending school less stressful. The diversity of races, ethnicities of the people always allowed for interesting discussions in class because there were so many viewpoints available to analyze.

The University of Louisville is very large but keeps some of its classes small so you get one on one help. Also almost everything you need is on campus and it's east to get to.

My school is unique because diversity is spread all through out the campus. There is a mix of races/nationalities a visitor will see and may be surprised by it.

When i was searching for the college that i wanted to attend during my senior year of highschool, i narrowed my search to a list of nearly 6 schools. The unique attribute at the University of Louisville which made it stand out in a crowd of nearly 6 college and university choices was its academics. The academics at the university are nationally ranked in multiple categories such as engineering, business, and nursing. With my main interest in business and entrepreneurship, i could not pass up a school which was ranked top ten in the country for the field.

The University of Louisville is a very diverse environment. Unlike many other schools that I considered, the people of UofL come from many different backgrounds. The amazing diversity of my school has presented me with the opportunity to grow as a person by learning about others. Without this opportunity my college experience would be seriously lacking, and I would be deprived of life-long learning experiences.

I thought the engineering program was unique. With the program, I would be able to get my master's degree in 5 years instead of 6. The amount of majors offered at UofL was exceptional as well.

I chose the University of Louisville because it has a lot of opportunities for research. I am a psychology major who hopes to have a career in Psychology research, so I knew that the funding the University of Louisville receives would help me to get more experience in research. Also, the city of Louisville is unique in that it is exciting and yet the atmosphere of the university is relaxed and community-based.

There is an incredable amount of diversity throughout U of L, which gives students the opportunity to better understand other cultures.

The University of Louisville provided many of the same opportunities as more prestigious universities did, but at a much lower cost. In addition, UofL makes efforts to engage their student body, with lots of programs for freshman and campus wide activities throughout the semester.
