The Rathskeller (the student run restaurant/bar on campus) for weekday lunches and pre-class buzzes is my absolute, hands down, favorite tradition! Here you sit on rockers by the lake, see all your friends there or walking by, eat decent food, drink decent drink and relax.

Overal, the University of Miami is known in multiple disciplines. Medicine as well as marine science are one of the top programs offered in the United States. The Business school is constantly improving in the rankings, although rankings are subjective to the raters. As a member of the business school, that is the most known to me. They offer everything that one could possible want and even need to further the minds of the future business leaders it creates.

My school is best known for its football team. We won the national title five times and ranked in the AP top 25 numerous times. Our football team is considered one of the best in the nation and up until a couple years ago, every year we had atleast one player drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. Students, faculty, and staff take great pride in our football team. We are also known for our strong academic background as well as our school of medicine, which is known as one of the best medical schools in the nation.

The teachers for the most part were very supportive and informative. Also the alumnis of the U find ourselves all over the world and are always helpful to one another.
