When speaking to my friends, I most often brag about the diversity, the location, and the overall quality of live at the University of Miami. Coming to a private university, I have been exposed to people from all over the country, and all over the world. It feels great to know that I now have a network of friends and resources spread all across the globe. The beautiful weather of South Florida is also an incredible perk, especially coming from New England. The students at University of Miami are generally happy people, which makes going to class very enjoyable.

Paola

I brag about the facilities, and the education. I absolutely LOVE all of my classes and my professors, and I've learned more than I ever thought I would. The facilities are also top-knotch! The school is very modern and has a beautiful campus.

Chris

South Florida boasts average year round temperatures in the 80's. This is an inviting atmosphere, and considering my first degree was obtained from a school in Minnesota, I think that it is fair to say that bragging about the climate prevailed over other details while I was in graduate school. I regularly attended classes in shorts and t-shirts even during the winter months.

Michelle

The sports, our new student center and how small and intimate our class sizes are cmpared to other schools.

Ivy

The campus is fabulous!

Ornella

I mostly brag about the amazing professors that teach there. I also tend to comment on the beautiful campus, and the friendly atmosphere. Lastly, I feel grateful for all the mentorship and research opportunities . For instance, I completed my own psychology research in Dr. Ironson (M.D., Ph.D)'s laboratory over summer where I examined the relationship between existential meaning and psychological depression in the HIV/ AIDS population. I then got to present my results before the entire psychology department faculty, and potential future colleagues. I feel that the University of Miami is a wonderful university.
