University of Miami Top Questions

The worse thing about my school is the cost of tuition. It really costs and outstanding amount of money to go here, and although I am no poor, I may be in debt for the rest of my life after attending this university.

People weren't motivated to succeed after college.

Some students can be a little to into themselves at times. If you don't feel comfotable with so many beautiful people around you, then this is not the campus for you. Not much to complain about at the U!!!!

Sometimes people are too shallow and are only here for the social life like a lot of students in the business and communication schools.

The University is mostly weathly families while the rest are students on scholarships, making many students uncomfortable.

The worst thing about the University of Miami is that it is all bark and no bite. The image they portray to the public is not at all what you actually see. You pay a huge amount of money and can never seem to figure out where it goes. All anyone cares about is getting drunk and going to the beach. Finding someone who isn't superifical is difficult. I thought the classes would be more interesting, and I was surprised at how most of them aren't taught by real professors, but TA's or MA candidates.

A lot of student come here to party because we are in Miami. But for the rest the school is excellent.

We're excelling academically, but won't be at that next tier for a few years - but hey, by the time I graduate, we'll be there, and it will be helping me get a job.
