The most frustrating thing about my school is that there are not enough academic counselors to meet the needs of all registered students. This creates long waiting lines for appointments and these appointments are usually only available at the most inconvenient times for students.

Lauren

I am commuting because I cannot afford to live on campus on on my own yet. I have to commute from Rowlett for 8:00 AM classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The school emphasizes music, art, and business over everything else. Events aren't heavily publicized and because it's such a comuter campus, it's difficult to make really good friends.

Ashley

Although we have a good athletics program, our football team has a long way to go. They try really hard and we actually won more games this year, but that hasn?t been enough. We don?t get the chance to see the ?Mean Green? tower get lit up that often which can become very frustrating at times. Better luck next time Eagles!

It's ten times harder to get an appointment with my advisor at UNT than at my other school. Instead of creating an appointment online like at my other school, I have to track down the secretary and the advisor's available appointments usually don't fit my schedule.

Jodi

Zoya

The most frustrating thing about school is knowing what you need to accomplish for your degree plan. There are many courses that you need to fulfill before you graduate. There is the University Core, The College Core, and then there is your Majors Core. It gets complicated and can be overwhelming and then it becomes frustrating.

Sarah

The most frustrating thing about my school is that the advisors do not always know the answers to all my questions. I have had several problems attempting to get one question answered. I have to make appointments with several different people to ensure that the answer to my question is the correct answer and will still get different answers from different people.

Joe

IThe most furstrating this about my school are the large class sessions in the auditoriums.

Claire

During my time at UNT, the most frustrating aspect of school is definitely the transition from home life to campus life and my studies. College work is not easy, and it takes more time to work through things than it did in high school. If you're a senior looking at attending a college or university next year, be aware of the changes that will come and be prepared to take it slowly, doing everything to the best of your ability!
