When you were in high school, you didn't know what you wanted to do in the future. Wawa is not your future. You will be consistently unhappy with your career choice, even though you will be great at what you do. The frustration will come from your intelligence getting in the way of how others perceive you. Instead, I want you to embrace how challenging school will become because the outcome will be so much better. Rutgers may not be the choice for you, but University of Phoenix is an option and it is great. I have never had such a fantastic academic experience. Keep your chin up and focus on the school work. The guys you meet in college are not work it and will not last. Just stay focused! Tell you what, look for a guy named Phillip Ungerer. He will be the person you spend the rest of your life with.

I would tell myself to study harder. I wouldtell myself that it doesn't matter what other people think of me, I am the best me I can be. I would also tell myself to stay focused.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, the first piece of advice I would give myself is to get to know myself better. When you know who you are it is a lot easier to decide what it is that you want to contribute to the world. I would also tell myself to take life seriously and set realistic expectations and goals. The last piece of information that I would give to myself is to volunteer. Volunteering is a great way to network with influential members of your community and develop career skills that will help you get your foot in the door.

Do not wait! You have what it takes to succeed. Try everything at least once. It is ok to change your mind if you feel that another line of study would work better for you. Learning can be fun if you let it be. School is hard at times, but the education you gain is worth the effort. The skills you learn at college will benefit not only your professional life but your personal life as well. Just do it, don't wait.

I would advise my high scool self to be more careful with my finances and not act based upon emotion. In doing so, you make several errors in judgement and many mistakes in life. Don't just live in the moment, look at the path you take further down the road in the future and don't make rash decisions that impact you at a later time in your life negatively. Stay focused and committed to doing the right thing and financial stability along with success will follow.

Self, First and foremost, do not procrastinate! I understand it is important to have a social life and you don't want to miss out on time with friends and family. Yet, it is crucial that you don't wait until you are 28 to go back to school because it only gets harder to succeed as you get older. It is much easier and will be far more beneficial to attend college when you are 18. Don't settle for trade school. It seems like a good idea, yet it's actually a waste of time. Don't assume that because you don't have the money to pay for college that you can not attend. There are so many resources available that you can use to fund your college. Apply for every scholarship available! Above all, don't give up! You deserve a better education and you will be so happy about your success once you graduate. Not to mention, you will make far more money and be able to get a much better job with a four year degree than with that trade school diploma. You can do it! Much love, Your Future Self

Akin to the reality of studying within high school; college is the same--the only difference--is it will allow you to be much better than you are now. We live and we learn everday, but college will give you the ability to fine tune what you will learn. Refineing your knowledge will not allow allow you to learn about what you like, but also allow your "like" to be what you love.

Hello High School Self, You should be more determined in your path to success because you can do this. Do not focus on the grade, but on what you can offer yourself through determination and self-dicipline. Remember to advise yourself of any and all obstacles that may prevent you from accelerating in your future endeavors. If I could say one thing about your future it will be based on level headed engagements that will help you find the right avenue to success. College is much different than high school because there are no clicks to be involved in only instructors who want you to participate in class so your true self can be revealed. Keep focused on the future because you will make an impact on all those who surround you both in professional and private atmospheres. You are an individual with compassion and insight, this will help you deliver outstanding advise to those you will work with, and help reach for success.

I would tell myself that even though you will not take the opportunity to go to school at age 19, you will have many learning experiences from the life you have choosen to contribute to class when you do go. If you had taken that opportunity you would not have the family and love that you have later. I would tell myself to enjoy the decisions that you make without regret. Life is too short to live with regrets, such as not continuing school at a younger age. I would also tell myself to save more for the certainty of going to school later instead of using student loans.

Allow for bumps in the road and don't stray from the path that will lead me to my goals.
