Billie

I wish I have known that I could do online classes and when the cutoff for admission for each semester.

Samantha

I wish I had know how much I would like it here. I was originally not even considering UT but now that I have been here for almost a full year, I would not change a thing and do not want to be any where else.

Kelsey

That the Arts and Science program was going through changes and were not very helpful to students to keep them on their career track or to help them figure out what classes to take. I've had teachers appologize to me about how poor my college is right now for my degree, something I never expected to hear from a professor.

I wish had known how to manage my study time a little better. In high school, I was fortunate enough to not have to study that much. When I got to college though, it was a different story! I found it hard to balance some things at first, but I eventually buckled down and got it.

Jennifer

I wish I would have known that their Honors program with the psychology department was not worth all the work and tears put in. I wish I would have known that most psychology majors do not get accepted right away into graduate school and usually take jobs unrelated to their degree after graduating.

Before coming to this school I wish I had known how important it was to be close with your professor. Your professor can really help you with your work and even give you credit when they see that you are working hard.

Caitlyn

Pick smaller classes based on good teachers. Larger lecture classes do not appeal to me or my learning methods. The teacher does not know who I am and it is a hard way to interact and voice your opinions.

Feliza

I wish I knew what the administration was like. The admins at UT are not very accessible and I feel that they don't care what the students think or feel.

Lakya

THAT I HAD TO STUDY REAL HARD

Jaclyn

One thing I wish I knew before I came to Toledo was to check my professors before I signed up, and to study better (I know how now). I also wish I knew more about the living arrangements before I moved in, just to be more prepared and what to expect. I went into college expecting anything since I was basically clueless.

Jasmen

Before I came to this school I wish I knew that I wasn't geting the scholarship they promise. I was suppose to get a scholarship that covered my tution and general fees. I had the g.p.a required but I didnt have a pell grant. I ended up having to sit out of school this semster for financial reasons. I stayed on campus first semster only because I thought I had a scholarship, but I was told I wasn't geting the scholarship after I moved on campus.

Aria

Before I attended the University of Toledo I wish I would have known that coming from high school to college is a major transition and while in high school you should really sit and think about if this is a transition you are ready to make. When in college you are on your own so, no one is there to tell you to wake up or go to class you have to be willing to push yourself to those kind of things on your own. Lastly, surround yourself with people who are willing to help you, you will need it.

Love

I wish I would have know how not to stress out over the little things. I had to learn fast things will happen and I just have to learn how to deal with it.

Alexandria

There is not much I wish I had known. People came to my school that attended the University of Toledo, and my family members attended the University of Toledo. So, I kind of got a feel of college life, I just needed to attend college to really grasp what I had been told.

Susanna

Within my major, many classes are make it or break it. Many students will no do well in my classes because they are not willing to devote the time and energy necessary to succeed in such a competitive major.

Nothing

Catherine

I wish I would have known how bad the parking was, I would have rethought bringing my car.

Elizabeth
