The crime rate is high not only on campus but surrounding campus. Many of the professors are extremely hard to understand either because they are foreign or are not good instructors.

I wish I had known about all the walking I have had to do to get to some of my classes. Also, I wish I would have known about the parking problems before I bought the parking permit that I bought!

The activities and groups available to students, and how to get the most out of your college experience. I know a lot of others were able to join group after group and get involved, but somehow I feel I missed out on that boat, and subsequently look back more fondly on my high school social experience than my college days. I think if I had gone in with more of a knowledge of these people meet at this time and this is what they do, I would have gotten more involved.

How unpredictable the weather is on a day to day basis.

I wish that i would have had a better idea of what i wanted to do with my life. That i had poor study habits, and i needed to be more focused.

The lack of care that academic and financial aid counsellors have for their students.

That there was not alot of school spirit at athletic sporting events.

I wish I would have known about how dangerous the University's surrounding area is. Also, I wish I would have learned some better study habits.

I wish I had been a little more culturally diverse. This school has a lot of cultures/races that I was not personally used to at home. But I have found that most of the time everyone gets along ok as long as boundaries are respected.

How windy it is in Toledo, Ohio.

That I wasn't going to want to be 2 hours away from home and that i should consider a closer college.

Be ready to experiance the big city and small town America all in one place. The city is east and cornfields are less than 5 minutes to the west.

I wish I would have known that the weekends here are dead.

That it would be colder than what I thought. Also that it would be harder to not have a car on campus while I was living in the dorms because the dining hall food would get old quickly. Be sure to bring lots of snacks and such.
