University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Top Questions

Students that attend UW-Oshkosh seem to mostly major in Business, Nursing, and Education. Because of the Nursing and Education majors, the campus it a little more female dominant. Also, UW-Oshkosh is the third largest University in Wisconsin but it is managable to walk the whole campus as well as being familiar with all the buildings and services that the University offers.

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is well known for their health science majors. These majors include Nursing, Kinesiology, and Athletic Training. They are all well respected curriculums and lead you towards a promising future after school.

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is best known for undecided, business, education, and nursing. UW Oshkosh has many different majors and minors that fit exactly what you are looking for. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is actual the third largest campus in Wisconsin, but honestly it does not seem that big. For me it the perfect size, especially since I am came from such a small town. Even though it is the third largest campus, the class sizes are not that big. The professors are so easy to talk to and helpful when you don't understand something.

Unfortunetly, UW Oshkosh is widely known for drinking and parties. That is the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Oshkosh, those are people who do not attend this school and work diligently through the rigorus courses in the difficult journey to complete their education here. Personally, I think this is a very negative title that has stuck to Oshkosh and clung for far too long. I would like to see a new, and more positive title for Oshkosh in the near future.

Oshkosh is known for their School of Business, School of Letters and Sciences, and the School of Nursing. The school I attend is also for its fun atmosphere.

My school is known for its envirnment friendly campus.

Our school has very well-known nursing and journalism programs. Furthermore, our school has started a revolutionary freshman program called the University Studies Program. Freshmen students take classes that we would have to take anyway, and they are put in a class of 25 or less, rather than pit classes. There are three questions students must answer throughout three semesters in the USP program. These questions are in regards to sustainability, intercultural knowledge, and civic learning. These questions help students apply knowledge they learn in regular general education classes to their own futures.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is best known for offering a great number of student services and promoting a high education. Also one of the most significant roles that UWO is being recognized for is that it was the nations first Fair Trade University! It encourages students to become leaders and take responsibility on environmantal issues.

There is a reputation for nursing and business; though the social sciences department also have some very well-renowned faculty. As a psychology/anthropology major I am not too familiar with other departments.

I believe this school is best known for their extensive Radio-TV-Film program. Their knowledgable professors make this program are able to take the basic knowledge taught in this program and morph their students into hard working knowledable adults. My experience with this program has opened up many opportunities in my area of study and has given me an enormous amount of experience.
