What I know UW-Oshkosh for best is its school pride. Everywhere you look students are getting involved on campus and in the community. The university makes it easy to get involved too, with a help desk that will find the perfect group or groups that fit you best. I could tell that the university really wanted me to succeed and also have fun while doing it. That dedication is what makes me proud to be a titan.

My school is known best for students having a drinking problem. Many students are put on academic probation due to excessive drinking. Drinking is a problem, one that many people face. But the problem here is when students do not face their drinking problem. When begining at a university it is important to understand that one needs to balance recreactional activities with their academic studies. Academic probation is a serious problem that no student wants to face their first semester of college, so no matter how many parties their are most nights should be spent studying, not partying at college.

Oshkosh is best known for its sustainability efforts. It is one of the top green campuses in the United States and everyone seems to like that. Buildings are built to be energy efficient, water for showers in the dorms are heated with solar panels, and 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of campus power comes from a biomass plant close to campus. Many of the courses offered have a theme of sustainability.

I believe our school is best known for its college of business. The program is very strong and many students come to the University for a Degree in business. It also has a good nursing program. I would say it is also known to be a beautiful and compact campus that is easy for students to navigate.

The University of Oshkosh is known for being the third largest University within Wisconsin. They specialize in bachelors degrees and masters degrees.

I think my school is best known for the degrees it offers and the goals it works towards. As for the degrees it offers, 3 of the 4 colleges at UWO are highly known in their fields: Business, Education and Business. The other college is the college of Letters and Sciences, which also has some competitive and well known programs that it offers. It is also well known for the goal of being "green" or sustainable and eco-friendly. UWO has done many things in order to keep that goal alive through building standards, recycling programs, etc.

My school offers many options for a range of students. Everyone form high school graduates to later in life learners, there is a program. Each program is catered to the individual student's need. The advisors, especially for continued learning students like myself, are always available and allow you to keep your courseload flexible. Students are offered many opportunites to enrich their college experience. I think the communication between the advisors, professors, officials, student services and other students is outstanding.

I think UW Oshkosh is best known for the three week winter and spring term sessions. It is an easy way to get two extra classes in for the year at no additional cost to UW Oshkosh students. The cost of the extra classes is already in the tuition. It is well worth it.
