The school requires a good amount of course work, as well as out of class research and activities to be completed. Being lazy or un-motivated can have serious consequences, and can cause a person to be put on academic probation or even cause them to drop out.

As stated previously, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is very welcoming and friendly to all. Needless to say, anyone from any race, social background, of any talent, etc. would without a doubt fit in. It has been said that the school is becoming greatly diveresed and as an African American Student myself, it excites me to know that i can be educted in an environment where I am able to meet and greet with others that are in a sense not always like me.

As a University we have a very well rounded body of students. Students eager to experience new things, study hard, meet new people of differing backgrounds, and become highly involved in campus activities should come to this University. Everyone supports each other in everything they do. Regardless of your background you will meet some outstanding people. Our campus is all about inclusion and diversity. The more you become involved, the more UWO becomes a home for you. We can have a good party, like any school, but at the end of the day it's all about our studies.

A person should attend Oshkosh if they love people. There are so many different people here that no matter who you are you will fit in somewhere. Great variety of people and I feel like this is my home away from home.

If you are looking to attend this school you need to be someone who is punctual and cares about your own learning. Sometimes you end up having to teach yoruself on your own because you cannot understand a professor through their accent.

This is a four year college so many people get home sick and leave their first year, but the students who get involved with clubs, or Greek life tend to make it. Oshkosh is the place to go for business or criminal justice majors because we have a great program.

There should not be a criteria based on personality that would allow or disallow students to be admitted to a school. The criteria should stay as it is with academics and extra curriculars being most important. Though maybe questions about tollerance of people with differences. This could include sexual orientation, gender identity, physical disabilities, and mental disabilities. The results from this could lower the chances of verbal or even physical abuse on campus.

Anyone who wants to get a quality education and likes a small town atmosphere. It is a school known for being a business, nursing and education school. It is a progressive campus that focuses as much on education as it does on student life and health.
