There are many great opportunities offered on campus and so many different people that everyone is sure to find something to be involved in and make plenty of friends. The campus stresses equality. Although it is not very diverse, everyone is welcome and it would be nice to see more people from other ethnicites to come and see what Oshkosh has to offer.

This is the kind of school that anyone can attend. Personally, I am an Honors student to whom learning has always come very easy. I am provided with a lot of opportunities to further myself and my education at UW Oshkosh. However, this is also a school that supports all types of students. There are so many supportive services for students who need extra help. The faculty are so understanding and really want their students to succeed. Anyone who is willing to work hard and get involved should attend the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Any person looking for a good college education should attend this school. It's very diverse and everyone is very friendly! The professors are a tremendous help, everyone is willing to make new friends, and the campus is beautiful.

UWO offers students a wide variety of organizations and activities that help students mature and become globally aware. This is especially important for those students coming from small towns who may not have seen much beyond their town's borders. Students receive the opportunity to discover how important a person's actions are and how they can affect others in not only surrounding areas but in the world as well.

The kind of person that should attend UW-O should have attended UW-Fox Valley beforehand because they prepared me very well for the type of work that I needed to do to be able to do well, they should be somewhat social and be flexible in working styles in regards to solo and group work. They can reach out when they need help but not rely too strong on other people to complete their work that they need to do. They should be motivated to reach for high goals and work hard to reach them.

People considering UWO can be full of energy and outgoing. THere are many activities available to students such as fun runs, ice sculpture competitions, anything you may not even know you are interested in. Living on campus as a freshman, the dorms set up housing competitions that give everyone a chance to get to know people you may never have the chance to know otherwise. No matter your area of study you can find opportunities to volunteer, act in plays or musicals or just blow off steam at the state of the art recreational center.

Anyone who is willing to be challenged and who has a willingness to learn. Also, anyone who is ready to learn how to be independent and learn how to manage time better.

This school is great for all sorts of majors and can be suitable for many kinds of people. Those who prefer a more personal education, as well as a campus that provides an adequate social population, will enjoy UW Oshkosh. Being a science major, I would say that the science and medical departments exceed my expectations and provide an excellent education to their students. Those who are willing to work and be challenged are the type of people that should attend this school

If you want to specialize in business or nursing, this is the school. Even though I am a freshman, I feel that I am already being prepared to enter the business world. An average student can come to UWO, but they need to be focused and want to learn. Use the tutors and the labs. They are great. College is very different from high school. You not only have to take care of your home work, but you have to take care of you and some times a job. You have to want to succeed.

I would say this campus is very flexible and will fit the needs of students from all over. For someone who is academically advanced and from a small town area, this would be an excellent choice because the campus is small and the classes are small if you take an honors course.
