The type of people who come to UWO are diverse and cover a wide range of personalities. Additionally, extracurricular activities are adundant to accomodate this diversity. Therefore, I feel their is no limit to the kinds of people who can fit in at this university. However, it does seem that different departments tend to harbor people of similiar personalities, which just means that students need to branch out beyond the people they meet in the classroom. Finally, if I had to choose a few qualities, they are as follows: motivated, social, open-minded, energetic, and dedicated.

Anyone who is willing to further there education in a decent sized city and is interested in nursing, teaching, or radio, T.V., Film. If someone is interested in any of those fields I would highly suggest the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.

The type of people who should attend this school are the ones who are looking for a challenge. While the academics can get difficult you have staff who know you personally who will go through great lengths to help. People who have good work ethic and have dedication and passion to their field of study.

A motivated person should attend this school. You should be the type of student that works hard instead of just getting by. Studying is a must at this school, and because of that you should be a student that can manage your time wisely.

I believe this school draws in students who are relaxed, and driven by things other than cut throat competition. This campus gives students a chance to be who they are without any judgement or biased opinions. It is a very welcoming and close knit campus!

People who know they can handle an accelerated format and take their studies seriously. The online, accelerated BSN option at UW Oshkosh is a very intense program, and a student in the program should treat it as such.

Anyone who looks to transfer to a four year university or anyone who want to recieve a great education from knowledegble professors and staff. Transition is easy and advisors are quick to respond to your questions.

The most important feeling of this campus is community which is good for an extroverted person. This school is accessible to those who did not necessarily do well in high school, but are focused on improving. Overall, UW-Oshkosh is a place for someone who is looking for success in multiple aspects of their life.

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is perfect for those looking to have the "college experience" while at the same time is conscious about the costs of college and is committed to incurring as little debt as possible.

This is a good campus for those who don't like big cities or huge populations of people. People of small towns adjust pretty well. Also a good place for academics as well as social activities. This campus values connecting with on another.

The type of person that should attend Oshkosh, is someone who seizes opportunities and gets involved. There are many tools to help individuals succeed in their major, it's just a matter of taking advantage of them. There is help outside the classroom and lectures for additional learning. Students should also step outside of the classroom to benefit themselves and others. There are a variety of clubs for students, along with intramurals and NCAA Division III athletics. Being involved in a variety of activities allow students to meet new people, potential employers, and make one a well-rounded individual.

Definitely career-oriented students. We are the only business school in Wisconsin that makes it madatory for students to complete an internship to graduate. This makes sure that every student has not only the educational background, but the experience as well when they graduate.

I believe that any type of person can attend UWO. It is a great school with many opportunities for learning and making new friends. At the beginning of the year you are sure to find a student orginization or club that you feel at home with and belong to. Being a transfer student last year I will admit I was a bit nervous, but everyone is so friendly and willing to help.

Any kind of person can attend this school because whether you are academically challenged or superior, there is always someone willing to help you achieve your full academic potential.

Oshkosh offers excellent academic programs and professors who truly care about their students. No matter what level a student is at, every course offers extra help and tutoring, available to a student at anytime. Along with strong academics, Oshkosh excells in athletics. It is an excellent school with a perfect size campus that is safe and creates a welcoming community for all.
