The close bond and love that you grow for all Cougs! No matter where you go or who you meet, when people meet and find out they are both a Coug then it is instant love. Before making my final decision on where to go to school, everytime I notice people wearing college gear from one of the schools I applied to, it never failed. Most people would say "Yeah, such an such was a great school, I like it." But when I asked some one wearing WSU gear they instantly were excited and pumped to talk!

Out of theprospective universities that I applied to, Washington State University stood out to me as a very suitable school that not only met my needs but far surpassed my greatest expectations. I sought a school that had a Pre-Pharmacy program; WSU not only has a Pre-Pharmacy program but also has a Pharmacy School that is currently ranked #10 in the United States. I also am pursuing a bachelor's in Chinese; the Chinese program at WSU is superb.This provided me the unique opportunity of completing not only my undergraduate but also my graduate degree at WSU.

I feel like whereever I see another Cougar we have a unspoken bond, we know what is like to be on this campus and feel the stong sense of community no matter where we are. I also feel that there is a huge allumni involvement which make me see that the school will be a big part of my future life

It's a college town, which means that half the town's population is college students. This means that the summers make Pullman a ghost town. That makes it really unique. The town of Pullman itself really makes WSU one of a kind. Some like it, and some don't. I enjoy its small size, while WSU is an adequate size.

My scholl is a lot more socially invovled and the other schools were to locked down on academics, not that mine doesnt highly value education but allows a lot more networking and has a lot better balance for an all around experience.

Washington State University is in a very secluded place so there is a lot of emphasis on the being at the University. This makes WSU feel like a very close knit-family. Everyone is very interactive with the community and University. There is a lot of school spirit.

For my anatomy class we get to work with real cadavers that the med-school students work on so it's hands-on experience, which is really really cool!
