The classes ar small and the professors actually care about what's going on in your life. I can think of one day when I was so stressed out and my professor sat down to talk to me and let me just cry in her office. They really care about your well-being and your studies.

The best thing is that you are given responsibility and freedom in a safe and secure environment. You are free to make your own mistakes and the college is pretty lax about discipline in most cases. Everybody gets one "get out of jail free" card.

I think that the best thing about York College is the availability of hands-on experience in many of the majors. Students are aslo able to and encouraged to apply for internships that will benefit them when searching for a career. These methods of preparation much further prepare the undergraduate than taking classes alone would.

I think the best thing about my school is the social life. Coming from a very judgmental and segreated high school, this new, friendly enviornment was exactly what I needed/

The opportunities to meet and greet new people. I truly enjoy meeting new people and helping them find their comfort zones.

The best thing about the school is the coed dorms. It gives you a chance to have a private community- and although this can at times create drama, its fun to interact and live with girls and guys.
