For my sister and myself, the college provides a unique opportunity to learn more about nursing. We are able to learn skills that are applicable inside and outside of the classroom. However, for my brother who has recently graduated from the Secondary Music Education Program, his experience was not as good. He thoroughly enjoyed the music aspect of the school, but did not feel as though the education department was able to tailor to music education majors.

I love YCP. I have made so many memories here and I would not have picked another school if I were to do college all over again. There's lots of clubs and groups to join on campus, and the professors truly care about your success. It's in a great location and I think the class size is perfect.

It is a good school, but know that on the weekends there is not much to do. On the weekends most people go home or party on Jackson St.. There is not much to do on-campus or off-campus in walking distance, unless you have a car. Campus activity board (CAB) also does not really have anything to do on the weekend, so you'll be bored unless you party.

It is a really good school, professors are nice and very helpful. They offer a lot of tutoring, counseling, and health services. I am glad with my decision to attend this school. I do wish there were better extracurricular activities, but overall they have a wide range of things to do.

I love York College! I have learned so much in such a short period of time! I made the Dean's list and became more social. I hope and pray to be able to continue with my studies. It is expensive. I am continuing to work at a local grocery store and in my landscaper position as I attend. I have met so many people of different cultures that I finally feel at home in York!

I think that York is a great school, we are very spirited and everyone gets along very well. The professors are understanding and great at what they do, the class sizes are small but this only ensures that you get more out of your education and connect with your professors. I am a first-semester freshman and they made the transition seamless between high school and college.

York college is a great schools that offers you tons of on and off school opportunities. From day one is our matter and you will get to know that as soon as you step on we will welcome you with comfort and hospitality, we make sure you are always active when you are not studying. While we take our academics very serious we also allow students to have fun in ways that is safe but enjoyable. In my opinion York college is a fit for anyone and whenever you get the chance to come visit or apply don't hesitate because you won't regret it.

I love it here. I am going to be a sophomore here at York College in the fall. I have made countless memories with some of the craziest and most amazing people I have ever met. If you are bored at York College, it's because you are a boring person. Don't be afraid to try something new or go explore! I can't wait to go back. I never thought I would want to go back to school. College is way different than high school!

I am attending York in the Fall and I am extremely excited. It is the perfect fit for me. I visited for an overnight in the Fall and fell in love with the students, class sizes, campus, location and overall feel of the college. The Business School is amazing and has a stock exchange simulation which was really neat to see. Overall York is a great fit for me! Go Spartans!

I am a current freshman at York College of Pennsylvania and am somewhat enjoying my experience. I am still trying to find a few friends but overall the experience has been alright. I love my dorm and independence of college. However the food is alright, the people aren't the best and the weekends are very boring on campus.

My overall opinion of York College Pennsylvania is a great experience due to the fact they have helped me out as a first generation student, given me positions in clubs, and have allowed me to speak at open houses. I am very grateful for York College on giving me great resources and make big plans for the future.

I enjoy York for many reasons. The size is perfect for me, there aren't too many people. The location is nice because although we are near a city, we are in the country too, which is something that I like because it isn't super chaotic around the city. I also like my cross country and track program here as well.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for York College Pennsylvania is 61%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would advise both parents and students to schedule many college visits, starting in the junior year of high school. Make sure to visit schools that are large, small, close, or far away to get the full effect of the various types of schools available. After choosing a school that feels "right" to both the parents and the student, it is important to get involved immediately. I would encourage the student to meet all of the people on their floor, and make efforts to get to know everyone possible. The first few months are so important to meeting friends that could last a lifetime. It is important to keep your mind open to anything that could open new doors to you, such as different clubs or organizations. Parents should be very encouraging and should still try to show an interest in their child's education. Overall, college can be a great experience if you make it one!
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
One aspect of my school that I really am not fond of is that the weekends are a little dry since most students go home during the weekends. So i have to find ways to entertain myself.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
York is a resonable priced school that has a lot to offer to students. There is always activities going on on campus and there is some stuff to do with in twenty minutes of campus. Even if you don't have a car there is transportation and freshman are allowed to have cars on campus. The class sizes a small for most classes, generally under 30.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
My teachers are really nice and they really want to make sure you learn the material. York College has a great campus and lots to get involved it. Being in a fraternity and having lots of close friends makes it easy to pick the right classes for me and gives me the opportunity to talk to people who are in the same field of study.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
My school puts a lot of effort to student involvment on campus. They provide a wide variety of on campus jobs, campust events, community involvement events, and student trips.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
The only studentsthat should not attend York College of Pennsylvania, are the students that do not plan on applying themselves to further their education.
I would have to say that anyone would able to attend York College. There are so many different activities and organizations that reach so many people and their interest. It's definetly a great place to experience new things.
