2023 The Law Offices of Scott Henry Scholarship

Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline of June 1, 2023 are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The Fullman Firm Debt Relief Scholarship

The Fullman Firm is excited to announce its first annual Credit Defense Scholarship is available for the Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 semesters! This scholarship supports high school seniors and college students who should not have to take on enormous debt for their education. At The Fullman Firm, our collection defense lawyers defend individuals and small businesses against all types of debt collection lawsuits, judgments, wage garnishments, bank levies, and property liens.

Eleanor Wegg Poetry Scholarship

This scholarship will grant three annual awards. Two awards will be in the amount of $500 and one will be in the amount of $1000. You may apply for this scholarship if you are a rising junior or senior undergraduate at one of the University of Michigan campuses with a major or minor in the English Department.

Corporate Relocation Council Scholarship

CRC will select the scholarship winner based on the strength of their total application package. The student will be evaluated on academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and on their essay, response addressing the way they handled the challenges associated with relocating to the Chicagoland area and a new high school. Applicants must meet all five of these requirements: Relocated between grades 9 and 12 Relocated more than 50 miles Changed schools due to relocation to the Chicagoland area Currently and enrolled Senior in good standing in a Chicagoland area high school (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will counties in Illinois) Currently have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent achievement on a different scale)

Michelle Obama Award for Memoir

We are honored to announce the Penguin Random House Creative Writing Awards’ Michelle Obama Award for Memoir. In recognition of Michelle Obama’s long-standing commitment to mentorship and education, as well as her inspiring leadership in encouraging young people to discover the power of telling their own stories, this award grants a college scholarship of $10,000 to one young, promising writer. This year, we are thrilled to announce that we are adding the Michelle Obama Award for Memoir to our program. This award is one of five creative writing awards given by Penguin Random House. Other categories include fiction/drama; the Amanda Gorman Award for Poetry; and the Maya Angelou Award for Spoken Word. In recognition of the Creative Writing Awards previously being centered in New York City, the competition will award an additional first-place prize to the top entrant from the NYC area.

KIPP Rales Scholarship Program

The Norman and Ruth Rales Foundation and KIPP Foundation have partnered to create the Rales Scholars Program. Every year up to 50 students will be selected for this new Rales Scholars Program. It will provide financial support to defray the costs of college, 1:1 mentorship, annual summer internship placement support, financial literacy education and budget planning, an annual leadership weekend and more. The first cohort of scholars joined the program in May 2022. The Rales Scholars Program is one of several KIPP scholarship programs established in alignment with KIPP Foundation’s goal to see 1,000 alumni in positions of true power and influence by 2040. The Rales Scholars Program honors the legacy of Ruth and Norman Rales, who believed deeply in the limitless potential of all young people, and who exemplified the spirit of giving back during their lifetimes.
