The Bart Pitman scholarship is awarded to two high school seniors (winner + runner up) totaling $9,000 ($6000+$3000) for a keyboard scholarship. It is available to two high school seniors who plan to declare a major in classical piano or organ at a degree granting conservatory, college or university in the fall semester following graduation from high school. Two winners are selected each year.

Applicants should be prepared to play three pieces of contrasting periods or composers from the standard classical piano/organ literature. A jury of professional keyboard musicians will select a winner on the basis of the live audition performance.
