La Roche College has a great campus located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. It's small, but that doesn't stop it from standing out in diversity and academics. What I love most about La Roche is it's encouraging and friendly atmosphere and that it's so diverse! I have had the chance to learn about so many different cultures and even create friendships with people from all over the world!!! There are even study abroad opportunities every semester that are covered by tuition costs!! Also great scholarship opportunities available to students.

I love La Roche! I think it's a great environment. The class sizes are smaller so the teacher always knows your name and it's easy to ask questions. Also, the private bathrooms in the dorm rooms are great to have and the dorm sizes are the biggest of the five colleges I visited. There are many great resources on campus and there's a free study abroad program after your sophomore year. They also support those who need help with tuition costs and give out great scholarships for academics.

Great place to be, small school so you get individual attention and you develop a relationship with your professors. They care about you and your future. College is an investment and will result in debt. Get the most for your money and go to a school where they will treat you as an individual.
If you are into frat houses and burning couches, this isn't the place for you. If you are serious about your future and education, give this school serious consideration.

La Roche College is a close-knit community of students. It is a great school for those wishing to socialize and engage with the entire school community. One of the best parts of La Roche is the small class size with easy one-on-one time professors. The professors are generally very helpful.

My experience at La Roche has been pleasant. The staff has done so much to help me with my transition to college. They have answered any questions I had about the school, application process and any other questions I had. I have enjoyed interacting with the staff and I can't wait until the fall.

It's an amazing college. It's not perfect by any means, but it's the best fit for me. There's just enough to do around campus that students aren't bored. The professors, if not available, provide ways to get in contact with them if students need help. The campus is small and the classes aren't far from each other with makes getting to consecutive classes easy.

La Roche College is a small private school, located north of Pittsburgh. La Roche is a good fit for anyone looking for a small environment and college experience. Along with the school being small, that also goes for the size of the campus. Since the campus is small, I often get bored mainly on the weekends, but since the school is located north of Pittsburgh, there are many events and activities that are offered off-campus with a reasonable amount of distance to make travel easy. Overall La Roche is a great school to build and grow not only academically but personally within a safe and fun environment for all!

La Roche college is a great college. As an international student, I was afraid to move to Pittsburgh in a small city with very little to do however this college is my life now. My friends, lectures, library is my life and I'm enjoying my college phase of life.

I love how transfer friendly La Roche College is. The counseling department is very friendly and super helpful. They made my college transfer process a success.

I am a commuter at La Roche college. What I know about the dorms is from hanging out in my friends' or hearing what they say. I usually don't eat in the dining hall since it's six dollars for food that isn't always the best. Why would I spend that much on half decent food when I can go across the street and get a bagel and a shake for the sam price at Panera? The teachers are some of the smartest people I've met. They are engaging in the classroom and really care about the students. They strive to push students to their full potential and care about how they're doing outside of the classroom. Student events are okay? As a commuter, I don't usually go to events since they are always so late at night and I'm at home or working. The student attendance is low, but the events always have some pretty cool prizes (TVs, gift cards, and money).
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for La Roche College is 92%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Have fun, but do your work. Find things that make you happy and makes you fit in with the right type of people at college. stay out of trouble. Make fun of the college that you chose to go to.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Most people on La Roche's Campus commute to school. I too was a commuter, so I am not personally familiar with too many on-campus activities. I made many friends at La Roche, but won't necessiarly stay in touch with them. You really only get to know people who are in the same major as you- espically if you do not live on campus. La Roche is small and intimate, and there is NO drinking on campus.
I person that likes one- one time with teachers and and students. Like having International diverity in school. Love having friends and being a small family. Knowing everyone at your school.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The tuition is so high, and there is not many things to keep you occupied at school. If your out of state the school does not provide shuttle transportation to the store. Or if you have to go to a class that is off campus you have to find your own transportation.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I found my school to be very dedicated to getting me the best education I could possibly have. My last school did not really help me to succeed and did not care about their students.
