Berks County Association of School Retirees Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who attend a public high school in Berks County, Pennsylvania and plan to major in elementary or secondary education with the intent of becoming a school teacher. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (or 90 percent or higher).

Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program – Teacher Credential Program Category

This scholarship is open to California students who are pursuing a teaching credential program; undergraduate students and re-entry professionals are both eligible, and undergraduate students may be enrolled in an education major. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

V. George & Jeannette M. Carey Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to Delaware high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree or professional designation in agriculture (preferred) or education. Students must participate in 4-H, FFA, or other community service activities; students in the top 10 percent of their class are not eligible.

Trinity College of Vermont Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Vermont undergraduate students who are seeking a degree in education or social work and who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must demonstrate financial need and community involvement and/or service.

Senator James M. Jeffords Endowed Scholarship to Honor Mary Jeffords Mills

This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside in Rutland County, Vermont, or attend a Rutland County high school (preference given to students who attend Rutland High School). Students must seek an undergraduate degree in education, and must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.

Erin Elizabeth Sperrey Memorial Scholarship Fund

Eligible applicants are graduating seniors at Aroostook County high schools who are pursuing a degree in early childhood education (preschool) or Liberal Arts (i.e. majoring in education, art/music, or languages rather than the sciences). Preference is given to students who have successfully completed an alternative high school program. Academic excellence is not a prerequisite, but demonstrated personal growth and pursuit of a post-secondary education are.
