This scholarship is available for U.S. veterans in Illinois who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in hopes of advancing a career in real estate.
UW-Eau Claire Blugold Promise-Sundstrom Scholarship
Non-traditional and first generation incoming students to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire who have earned no more than 30 college credit hours and graduated from a Wisconsin high school are eligible for this award. Students must demonstrate financial need; preference is given to students from Durand High School.
UW-Eau Claire Donald P. Weber Veterans Memorial Scholarship
Wisconsin residents who are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible for this award. Students must be current undergraduate or graduate students attending a University of Wisconsin institution.
UW-Eau Claire Ken and Mary Smith Veteran Scholarship
Current or former military students who have been honorably discharged and attend the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire are eligible for this award.
UW-Eau Claire Charlotte L. Grinsel Scholarship
U.S. service veterans currently majoring in biology, chemistry or physics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are eligible for this award.
Kansas National Guard Educational Assistance Program
This award is for U.S. students who are members of a Kansas Air/Army National Guard unit and planning to attend a postsecondary institution in Kansas. Students must have a GED or high school diploma to qualify for this assistance, and cannot already have a bachelor’s degree.
Kansas Military Service Scholarship
This award is for Kansas undergraduate students who are planning to attend a public postsecondary institution in Kansas. Students must have served in the military after Sept. 11, 2001.
The General Prize Essay Contest
The General Prize Essay Contest is provided by the U.S. Naval Instititute. It is open to all essays submitted to Proceedings magazine.
Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants
This award is for U.S. students who are currently enrolled at an accredited postsecondary institution in the U.S. The student must a dependent of a member of the Armed Forces who died as a result of performing military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after Sept. 11, 2001, and who is not receiving a Pell Grant.
