Calvin College A.M.D.G. Scholarship
International and U.S. college sophomores, juniors and/or seniors are eligible for this award. Students must be enrolled in a pre-architecture program at Calvin College.
Upakar Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. citizens and legal residents who were born in India or have a parent/grandparent who was born in India. The applicant must be a current high school senior with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher, and his/her annual family income must be less than $75,000.
CANFit Graduate Scholarship
This award is available for minority students currently enrolled in a graduate program for nutrition, public health nutrition, physical education, or an American Dietetic Association-approved pre-professional practice program at an accredited California college or university. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed 12 to 15 units of graduate course work at the time of application.
Naomi Mildred Nicoll Scholarship Fund
This award is available for U.S. female undergraduate students who graduate from Litchfield or Wamogo high schools in Litchfield, Connecticut, and reside in Litchfield, Warren, Morris, or Goshen, Connecticut. Each applicant must be the daughter of a single, working mother who cannot otherwise afford college, and must have a grade point average of B- (2.75) or higher.
Waterbury Women’s Club Scholarship Fund
This award is available for U.S. high school seniors and adult students who are entering their freshman year that reside in the Connecticut Community Foundation’s 21-town service area. Students must plan to major in nursing and have a grade point average of B- or higher.
Helene M. Overly Memorial Graduate Scholarship
International and U.S. female graduate students who plan to pursue a career in a transportation-related field are eligible for this award. Students must be affiliated with a specific WTS chapter and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Donald & Ruth Agnes Kaplan Memorial Scholarship Fund
This award is available for U.S. female high school seniors and adult students who are entering their freshman year of college who have been residents of one of the following Connecticut cities for the past four years: Cheshire, Naugatuck, Prospect, Waterbury, Watertown, or Woodbury. Chicana/Latina Foundation Scholarship
This award is available for female students in Northern California who are of Chicana/Latina heritage. Applicant must have completed 12 or more credit hours as an undergraduate or be accepted or enrolled in a graduate program, and must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher (3.0 or higher if a graduate student) at the time of application.
New Leader Scholarship
This award is available for current juniors and seniors attending one of the following universities: California State University, East Bay; San Francisco State University; San Jose State University; Sonoma State University or University of California, Berkeley. The applicant must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be majoring in social sciences, human services, health-related fields or public service.
