University of Maine Mid Coast Alumni Textbook Scholarship

This scholarship is available to help pay for the textbooks of U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Maine at Orono. Students must be graduates of a Mid Coast Maine high school, and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

University of Maine Foster B. Blake, Sr. Scholarship Fund

This award is available for undergraduate students at the University of Maine who are residents of Sedgwick or Brooklin, Maine. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

University of Maine Merit Scholarship (in state)

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors in Maine who plan to attend the University of Maine at Orono. Students must, at a minimum, be in the top 40 percent of their class and have an SAT score of 1100 or higher; however, most recipients for this scholarship are in the top 10 percent of their class.

Montello-Sawyer Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Maine undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Appraisal Institute or have a parent/legal guardian who is a member.

Colby College Ralph J. Bunche Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who are planning to attend Colby College. Students must demonstrate scholastic strength and leadership potential and must be African American, Latino/Latina, Asian American, or Native American.

Rodney C. Harmon Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Maine undergraduate and graduate students who have achieved a grade point average of 2.7 or higher for the semester immediately preceding the distribution of any award.

PDK Prospective Educator Scholarship Program

This scholarship is available for international and U.S. high school seniors and current undergraduate students who plan to major in or are majoring in education. Current college students must be members of Phi Delta Kappa International.

Casey Family Services Alumni

Foster Care to Success is America’s College Fund for Foster Youth. This program is open to those who were part of Casey Family Services Foster Care in Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont, and provides up to $10,000 over the course of a college career.
