The Outstanding Citizen Scholarship and Essay Contest aims to give demonstrated community leaders and dedicated citizens an opportunity to pursue the education that will inform and better their causes. Thomas Soldan Healthy Communities Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who possess a proven record of interest in healthy communities through past and present volunteer, professional, or educational experiences. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship
Attorney Seth Okin created the Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship to aid students in their academic pursuits and their lives of activism. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student who provides the most thoughtful, well-reasoned view of how people can best engage in community service. To apply for this scholarship, please email your resume, transcript, and essay submission to [email protected] no later than November 30th.
Healthcare Administration and Management Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration or healthcare management. Student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Champions for Christ Scholarship
The Champions for Christ Foundation was founded by Mac Snyder as a member at City View First Baptist Church. The vision is to help students going into full-time ministry with education assistance. This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are preparing to enter full-time Christian ministry.
GetEducated.com Excellence in Online Education Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in an accredited online degree program located in the United States. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated financial need.
Don Watkins Memorial College Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who graduated from Idaho high schools and have completed at least one year of college. Students must wish to pursue a career in journalism or communications.
Purdue University/American Freedom Foundation Military Family Scholarship Program
This partial-tuition scholarship for Kaplan University is open to students who are the spouse or dependent of a current, veteran, or retired U.S. military servicemember; a DoD civilian, or a current spouse or dependent of a DoD civilian; or a NC Department of Corrections employee, or a current spouse or dependent of a NC Department of Corrections employee. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
Roger C. Sathre Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is open to students who reside in Idaho, graduated from an Idaho high school (or equivalent), and attend an Idaho college or university. Students must pursue either a professional-technical degree leading to something less than a baccalaureate degree or a baccalaureate degree in secondary education in a professional-technical area; students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Ronald P. and Ethel R. Rawlinson Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is open to students who are graduating from or have graduated from a high school in Emmett, Idaho and plan to enroll or are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies. Students must pursue a program in the medical or paramedical field, including but not limited to nursing, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, physical therapy, anesthesiology, kinesiology, etc.
