I attended American Public University a few years back and graduated in 2021. My overall experience was extremely pleasant. Most of my classes were done online, making it very easy to attain my goals being active duty military. Staff and faculty were always helpful and available to asset me wen I had question or problem getting my assignments submitted.

Ronnie - 02/01/2024

So far great school offers digital courses as well. I've been going here since 2021 and haven't had a issue yet facilities are awesome been there twice as I'm always moving around and will say the content is really engaging overall this school does have it all and will not waste your time either.

Trinity - 02/01/2023

American Public University System is an online university. I have been attending this school for a little over a year now. When I was still in high school and considering colleges, I wanted to find a college I could afford to go to. APUS reached out to me and answered all of my questions. My goal was to graduate will little or no debt at all. Tuition is around nine grand a year, and courses start at two hundred-fifty a semester hour. Since I have to juggle school and work I can easily work my classes around my work schedule. I can take as many or as few classes I want. The school is self paced and I have ten years to finish the degree. This school offers a variety of programs for associates and bachleor degrees. The staff are always available and are extremely helpful. The professors are also always available. Whenever I struggled in my class I sent an email to my professor and they responded within hours to a day later. The classes involve building stimulating discussions to expand critical thinking that allows classmates to build on conversations. This school also offers opportunities for internships and programs outside the school. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to earn a degree and graduate without student loans.

Camrin - 01/01/2022

It’s a great college that allows the opportunity to learn and excel in any environment of your choosing no matter your background or fear. The support form academic staff is superb! Any time I need help or feel lost they are an email away to making it easier!

Zulmarie - 08/10/2021

I have been going to American Military University from the American Public University System since 2017. I absolutely love the school and the fact that the professors are easily accessible. I heard somewhere that the school is a degree mill school. I highly disagree with that. I have worked my behind off to get my degree. And that's not easy to say with studying Mathematics. I graduate in April, 2022 and I couldn't be happier with my choice of school. It's an online degree and when I call Advising or Financial Aid, they are always happy and eager to help. I love AMU and APUS so much. I would highly recommend it. Especially if you are looking for an online degree.

Karen - 06/29/2021

I started at 56 years old, I am 58 now and have 48 credits so far. There are plenty of other students my age and older, all that I have spoken with are very comfortable with our school. I have no complaints with the staff for certain, they are always ready to assist with anything at all, and or any concerns. I love my school.

Nastasia - 10/26/2020

I have been extremely pleased with APUS. It’s a cost efficient school and it has a variety of different courses to fit anyone’s needs. Then staff is helpful and the website is user friendly. I like how the courses are in an app that is also user friendly and easy to navigate while keeping assignments organized.

John - 09/21/2020

Great School for online study but if you are looking for college sports and other full on college things then consider going else where. I personally feel that I am learning at lot through online study and the material provided by the school has really enhanced the learning experience as well.

Jestoni - 07/27/2020

Due to being in the military, it is difficult to find time to do physical classes, so doing classes online has been one of the best parts about taking classes at American Public University System (APUS). I also love the fact that classes always start on the first Monday of every month, so that it is easy to remember when the new semester starts. On top of all of this, my professors have been great at responding to any of my questions in a timely manner and for the most part have graded fairly with comments to tell me what I can improve on.

Amy - 07/16/2020

It is ok for an online school but it is infested with biased liberal nonsense. I once had a teacher who argued with me about the standing of our bill of rights. So if you are looking for an ok education this is the place to go, if not I would look else where.

JENNIFER - 07/02/2020

I currently attend this college online, so I don't have much information to share about the on campus life. However, I really enjoy the programs and they are challenging but not impossible and the teachers help any time I ever have a question. We post discussions in a forum format every week to discuss the topics being shared and what we are working on.

Deanna - 06/21/2020

I cannot give an accurate description as I am an online student. The campus is in WV and it is a Military University that has opened to the public. They have wonderful professors and I am so happy that I can call it my school. I have taken art courses and French courses they are just wonderful and for people that are trying to raise a family, this is your school.

MARISSA - 05/18/2020

The school is completely online, but more effective than any in seat course I have taken. The professors are always available, even on holidays and weekends I have e-mailed those individuals and they have responded. There is no on campus activities or housing to rate, but I am confident that if there were, it would be a five-star rating. My experience with in seat courses is that of which professors cancel class, when you are already seated, will not answer e-mails in a timely manner, and their office hours are very limited. With in seat courses you are also required to pick-up your school supplies and pay separately, whereas you are not with this university. Being able to stay home or at work and still complete assignments, and get ahead in some, are huge for military personnel, like myself, that never know when a mission arises, and a course may need dropped. This is not the case with this university that is completely online, but also very understanding of the military folk's mission being essential. My only fully online semesters have been with American Public University System and I could not be happier with the school as well as faculty.

Patrick - 04/15/2020

This is a fantastic school to be apart of! It is nearly a 100% online university, so you must be able to motivate yourself to do the work. I know of a few people who need the classroom in order to work. However, if you can self-motivate, you will do very well. Fantastic teachers, great curriculums, and a well accredited school.
