ASU has over 250 undergraduate programs and has hundreds of classes to choose from. The environment at ASU is exciting with the involvement of students in many activities and the downtown area next to the campus is full of new things to do at night or weekend. Also, the professors are extremely helpful and encourage their students to come by their office with questions so none of their students struggle with the material. I feel ASU provides a great amount of outside classroom help in order to help its students succeed.

ASU is one of the greenest schools in the campus. It was the first university to have a sustainability major, and it also emphasizes sustainability throughout the entire university; for example, students discuss it and do assignments about it in the required freshman class.

My major, Biology and Society is the first of its kind in the county. It is a Biology major, along with philosophy, history, medicine, law, politics, bioethics, and religion. It is a very refreshing major from a typical Biology major.

ASU has classes for just about any field you want to go into, they have 4 campuses in the Phoenix metropolitan area with each campus specializing in certain fields.

I think the new schools that are starting out here such as the school of global studies and the insitute of global sustainability are rare among campuses in the U.S. and I am lucky to be able to be involved with such innovative and important schools.

Compared to UofA I think ASU has more social activities going on. Since it is in a more populated city there is a lot of things going on outside of school.

As I stated above, this was one of the top five dance programs in the united states. They also have the nationally known Sundevil Dancers that perform at Football, Basketball events and represent the school for many civic events. I wanted to be a part of all of this.

Campus really only matters in freshman year, when you are just trying to fit in and find your spot. I don't pay any attention to what occurs on campus anymore and I will be there for a few more years for my graduate degree. Concentrate on getting through school fast so you can earn the money. Your wallet and car that actually runs will thank you.
