I personally love Arizona, especially Tempe. There is a homie vibe to it, and the community that the school brings into the area is amazing. The connectors and network pope get from ASU is also amazing, whether it's social or professional. Those relationships will last a lifetime, which is what really draws me in because I believe relationships are what bring success. My teacher has always taught me to look for the things that will bring me the most. so for me, ASU has it all. They have the big football high school feel to it with sororities and big friend groups, but also have very strict and organized academics, which I respect as well. So for me, it offers a wide variety of the college experience and the college turnaround.

I have lived in Pheonix almost my whole life so I feel that it would be very nice to go somewhere close to home and that's familiar. It would also be nice to meet people of different cultures I have been surrounded by almost my whole life.

I want to attend Arizona State University because I respect the culture over there and how immersive the campus is. Tempe is also a beautiful place and has a lot of things to offer and I feel like going to school in that city would be great.

The first time I looked into Arizona State University’s Campus Immersion program, I was just casually browsing options on a sleepy Sunday afternoon. But something about it stuck with me. Maybe it was the sheer variety of academic programs, or maybe it was the fact that ASU seemed to encourage students to think big. Even if they came from small towns like mine.
What really got me, though, was the emphasis on innovation. I kept seeing that word everywhere (on the website, in student testimonials, even in rankings) and it didn’t feel like empty branding. It felt real. I’ve always been someone who wants to build things, create solutions, and ask questions that don’t have easy answers. ASU’s culture of experimentation and cross-disciplinary learning makes me feel like that mindset would not only be welcomed, but actually nurtured.
The Campus Immersion model also stands out because it blends the traditional college experience with this energy of purpose. You’re not just there to pass classes, you’re there to collaborate, to explore, to grow in ways you didn’t expect. The campus itself has this buzz of possibility (at least, from everything I’ve seen and heard), and honestly, that’s the kind of place I want to be.
As for my overall rating? I'd say a strong 9 out of 10. I’m holding that last point only because I haven’t set foot on campus yet, and I like to leave a little room for surprise. But if the experience lives up to the promise, I could easily see it becoming a 10.

I would be excited to attend Arizona State University Campus Immersion because of its unique blend of academic excellence, innovative programs, and vibrant campus life. One aspect that stands out to me is ASU's commitment to sustainability and its extensive efforts in promoting environmental responsibility. ASU's strong focus on sustainability through its academic programs, research opportunites, and sustanability initiatives really resonates with me. The university's reputation as a leader in environmental studies and sustainable development is an exciting prospect for my future.

I chose to attend Arizona State University for several reasons, first, there are academics I am extremely interested in the Law and Criminal Justice pathways that Arizona has to offer. Secondly, I’ve visited Arizona and I love the weather. I find it the perfect environment for me to thrive both academically and socially. Thirdly, I chose Arizona for the overall student body and the extracurricular activities it has to offer. I plan to join the spirit/cheer team to remain fit and continue to cheer, which has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I also plan to apply for the Next Generation Service Corp so I can continue to do my part by not only serving my community but also helping those in need. Finally, I also plan to rush into a sorority so I can both have a community of my own and strengthen the humanitarian aspect within whichever sorority I pledge. Becoming a Sun Devil means to me becoming a part of a large community in the best city in Arizona. Having the opportunity to attend a school that is known for its innovation means I’ll have the opportunity to gain an education from a school that empowers its students but also uses that knowledge to help others in need. Becoming a student at ASU represents an opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone, leaving my home in California to explore new experiences along with different perspectives.

I would like to attend the ASU Campus because I live close to it and I would still be able to see my friends. This would be amazing because it means that I would not have to give up the life that I have now. ASU also has a student council like program which I think would be amazing to be a part of. I have loved leading at my high school and I would like to continue growing my leadership skills on a college campus.

I went to ASU for only 2 years, but honestly enjoyed the classes, people and scenery. I definitely wish I got to experience the culture more at that school, there were plenty of opportunities and activities to engage in on campus and off! I felt safe, engaged with my classmates as well as the faculty. The campus is huge but it’s nice to explore and see everything they have to offer.

I was initially enrolled for on-campus but quickly changed to online. Which I felt was the best opportunity and was able to make a work/school balance easier. The professors were so professional and easy to reach and with the resources they provided in each class made it very easy to learn throughout the lessons.

Great place to go to school and the professors do a great job of staying involved with students. Grading is fair in the online programs as well and those professors do a great job of staying connecting with students all over the country taking these courses.

My overall opinion of Arizona State University-Tempe is that it is a great school to attend and get involved. The school provides a lot of resources and sports for students. The classrooms are always full, and asking questions and participating in class can be challenging. As a student who lived in the Palo Verde dorms, I can say that they have a tremendous on-campus housing program and excellent staff.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Arizona State University-Tempe is 82%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell myself not to go for off-campus housing since it drained my scholarship funds. I think on-campus housing would have given me a richer college experience.
Up until now, ARizona State University was an uncapped university. However this year with it's financial unstability it has capped enrollment for freshmen. My advice for those pending their application status, or even applying next year would to be work hard and do the best you can. Arizona State is a really good school and it prides itself with its academic accomplishments from its students. There is a wide range of majors and degrees that it fits any person entering. Pick the degree or major that fits you and do your best to achieve your goals.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I think the worst thing about our school is that all kinds of people who are not attending the university are always on campus. Also our campus is extremely large, the combination of these two things make me feel unsafe at night since some attacks have occurred within the past two years I have attended there. I wish there was some way they could make it safer at night.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
The fact to go to medical school you dont need to have a science degree, but any degree you choose as long as you take the required classes for medical school.
The best thing would be the abundant amount of oppurtunities available to all students. Whether it be tutoring, interaction between professors and students, networking, physical activites, or making friends, there is a whole lot going on.
Unfortunately, Arizona State is best known for partying. However, that is slowly but surely changing. Under President Michael Crow the university has become a hub for research and exploded in size. The idea of a New American University, one where all who have the ability are welcome, is becoming the new hallmark of ASU.
The kind of person that sould attend this school is someone who can handle crowds. There is a high number of students that attend the school, and if you want to meet with techers, advisers, staff, etc. it should be done through appointment. The good thing is that there is always something to do. People who are into their social lives should definately come here because of the hundreds of clubs available, greek life, and other extra- curricular activites. The education opportunities are endless. With four main campuses , ASU can accept students from all over the valley and country.
The academics at my school range among different undergraduate and graduate programs, but my career in general, Kinesiology is an amazing program with resources and internships that allows us to grow.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
The most popular groups are fraternities ans sororities because they do a handful of advertising. However, a tradition is the undie run that is taken place at the end of the year where students donate their outfit to charity strip off and run in their undies on the last day of school! Also, students are very engaged in sports and the most popular one is Football in our batlle against our territorial rival, University of Arizona. In their free time students also hike the A mountain which is 2 blocks from the ASU Tempe campus.
Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?
While ASU does have it's share of partying, there is a lot of serious students here. Most of the classes aren't easy and most drop out of ASU their freshman year because they think that they don't have to study.
I decided to go to ASU because it offered me a great scholarship, is located in a very warm climate which is very important to me, and it also has a great business program, which I am majoring in.
I live in Hassayampa Academic Village. This dorm hosts a lot of students on the Tempe Campus. I was extremely impressed with the dorms when I first saw them. I can control my air conditioning,I can loft my bed allowing a lot of space andI also have a bathroom connecting me to my suite mates. All the bathrooms/sink area in the room are painted and it made the entry way seem more like home.
