The location I feel is very unique. ASU is not only located minutes away from many large entertainment areas, such as Scottsdale, Mill Avenue in Tempe, and Glendale (Glendale Arena & Westgate), but also just a few hours from many top vacation destinations. Arizona State is just hours from Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles, The Grand Canyon, and Rocky Point Mexico.

The close proximity of the campus - not having to go far distances between classes. It is a convenient and pretty campus.

David

The weather is almost always sunny, and the campus is beautiful and much more sustainable than others I visited. It was also the school that offered me the most financially. The people at ASU come from all around the world and from every background and it is a neat place to meet and understand people of different cultures.

Christine

In Arizona, ASU's business school is excelling; it is also becoming increasingly acknowledged as one of the better Business schools nationally. ASU is relatively affordable, especially compared to many other Universities across the nation, with its In-State tuition around 3,000 a semester for incoming freshmen. ASU also attempts to change its image as a college, the school's new nickname being " The New, American University"; there is a greater emphasis on sustainability, with green buildings under construction around campus, and an attempt to bring the best and brightest of U.S. Students and Professors to its campus.

Joel

I chose Arizona State primarily because I got a very nice scholarship offfer, they had one of the best journalism programs in the nation, and it is close to my family. Other schools offered different opportunities and insights but when it came down to it, I had to weigh those things that were important to me and ASU fit all three perfectly.

Jason

For my present situation, ASU is really my only choice due to it's location, although it has an excellent earth and space sciences focus, along with engineering, which is also ideal for my chosen major.

Jackie

The College of Design of Interior Design at Arizona State University is highly competitive--allowing only 28 students into upper division.
