I think that Bentley University is a great place to start your business career and have a good reputation. There are many opportunities to do things other than academics, too, like clubs, random events (like soap making!), volunteering, Greek life, etc. Those are the things that will keep your mentality healthy; it's easy to be consumed by academics because some classes are pretty hard! Doing fun things often makes it better, though. Something I would complain about it the lack of diversity; Bentley is definitely a predominantly white college.

Beautiful environment, very conducive to learning. Great professors awesome staff and tons of resources for Graduate students. Adapted very well to the changes during COVID. Located in a great area, where there is a sense of calm and not too far away from Boston if you enjoy a bit of hustle and bustle.

Pretty decent college. You need to study and put in the work for the general business courses. Most other first year courses are fairly easy. There are resources to help you if you are struggling. You can always email teachers for appointments, don't be shy!

Bentley is a good education school, but it terms of food, social life, living areas, fitness equipment, and pretty much everything else, it is not worth the $100,000 amount of debt that many students take on. The living spaces are very small and bland, especially freshman and sophomore year. The food is probably some of the worst food you can find on a school campus, I have actually gotten sick twice after eating there (as in throwing up and diarrhea). Overall, of you are look to take on $100,000 in debt for a good education, bad food, and a terrible social life, then Bentley is the place for you!!!

I’ve had a thoroughly terrible experience here, and I really wish I had something positive to say about the school. The people are essentially carbon copies of one another, there is no intellectual diversity, everyone is solely focused on sex and money, and everyone is either a rich white kid or an international student. The guys are full of themselves, and the girls are worse because of the gender ratio, they all think they’re absolutely stunning when they’re 3/10 at best. If you’re looking for an overpriced, rigorous school with a terrible social scene, horrible food, and average facilities, Bentley is the place to be. That said, career services and academics are ranked incredibly well. Personally, the cons severely outweigh the pros, but the typical preppy white kid loves it here.

I graduated from Bentley with my Bachelor’s in Accountancy and will be graduating with my Master’s in Taxation in May 2018. I choose Bentley because of its classroom sizes, location and great academics. The classroom sizes are perfect where the professor knows everyone’s names and gets to know you. The professors are always willing to help, both during office hours or outside office hours by appointment. I also liked the location because it was close to the city but not directly in the city so it was a little more peaceful. Sometimes it was a pain to get to Boston without a car but the Bentley shuttle to Harvard is convenient to have! I thought the accounting program was challenging and rigorous and I was able to learn a lot that prepared me for the real world. There was always something to do on-campus as well and many networking opportunities! Bentley offers various clubs and organizations to get involved and meet new people. Since it is only a business school, it is small so people tend to stay close to their groups but everyone’s still pretty friendly and social! Bentley’s graduate program can also be done in-person or online. This was really convenient for me since I had a long commute so I loved having the flexibility depending on my schedule for the day. If you go to Bentley for your Bachelor’s, they also offer an option to take a maximum of 2 graduate courses during your last semester at the price of undergraduate tuition which is what I did. I was able to save a lot on tuition! Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my college experience at Bentley and loved the professors and everyone I met along the way!

It is a great school that is very strongly career-oriented. Most students graduate with great degrees and even better jobs. From a faculty and administrative standpoint, there is definitely some inconsistencies and hostility. There isn't much transparency between the administration/faculty and the students. Other than that, I would recommend Bentley University to anyone.

Bentley University is an amazing University with lots of Great opportunities!
Liz
It is a small knit community of hardworking individuals. The academics are rigorous and has newly renovated facilities. The campus food is decent, but the upper campus and discretionary locations have better quality food. Bentley has a world class reputation in career services and accounting/business. It is a wonderful university to attend. Best years of my life!

Bentley University is the best college in the area for business. I am getting the best education I could be getting, and I have so much fun. The food may not be the best, and the stairs suck, but I wouldn't change my decision to come here for anything. I love being here every day.

Bentley University in y opinion is an excellent university. Bentley's campus is one of the most beautiful campuses I've seen, and is one of the major reasons why I decided to attend it. Campus food is exceptional, there are around 10 dining places students could go to that accept discretionary funds. Almost all professors I've had classes with have first hand experience from the business world, also, they are always available for help and are usually very caring. Overall, Bentley has been an amazing experience for me until now, and I hope it would continue to provide great experiences for other student and myself for the next two years and a half
Katherine
Bentley is a nice school all in all. The food is pretty sub par and the workload is high, but it's very good academically. There are events going on in campus every weekend so it's not as boring one might think. Small campuses are not for everyone, but Bentley is a nice middle ground.

Bentley is the best place on earth... for the right student. The students are ambitious and passionate about business. My favorite part about Bentley is that students live on campus all four years. It creates an incredible sense of community and keeps you close to your friends! It also ensures that the campus is always active and there are things to do!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Bentley University is 46%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I have gotten an great education so far and the opportunity to discover more about myself and what i want to do with my life.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The career services at Bentley is ranked high nationally. I have no doubt that I will receieve excellent job placement upon graduation. I recently went in to get my resume checked out and the woman I met with was very helpful and gave me tips that went beyond my resume.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about my school is the repetiveness of the food choices in the dining hall. While the food is very good compared to many other schools, they don't really change it up at all. Here and there we will have a new choice of food to eat, but for the most part it is extremely repetivie. It is very easy to get sick of the food very quickly.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
There are a few types of people that I would not recommend Bentley University to. One such group is students that do not know what they want to do with their career. These people would not fit in well because this is a business first school, and almost everyone knows what they want to major in from the time they step on campus. There is a limited amount of non-business majors, and they may end up wasting their money if they decide that they don't want to do business.
A dedicated, and excited student who is ready to learn and make lifelong friendships. Being a business school, Bentley is very career focused and becomes very specialized in your major, so it's important to be open minded and dedicated to all of your courses.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
The stereotype, from an outside perspective is that Bentley is full of international students (asian and indian) and that bentley is a good school. Within the school there are many different segments of students that can be put into categories. There are the athletes, decent portion but nothing substantial to the whole population of Bentley. The following groups tend to segment themselves from the rest of the school: football, hockey, and soccer. The soccer kids are not terrible, the hockey kids dont hang out or converse with anyone but the kids on their team and the other athletes, the baseball kids will converse with the football kids and most other people if you approach them or interact with them. The football kids are the biggest team on bentley and thus associate with moslty/only other football kids. There is a small/decent size fraternity population at Bentley. Their parties are mostly filled with younger years (freshman and sophmore). Foreign students associate primarily with each other: Spain with Spain, Indian with Indian, South America with South America. I have had many interactions with these groups of students only because I have had many jobs on campus where they work and my roomate is very social with them. Bentley has a decent marijuana afficianado crowd and it is slowly growing in numbers, especially with the recent incoming freshman class and in fraternity life. Everyone at Bentley (99{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}) is dedicated to completing school work and securing a job by their junior year. Bentley drives this into their students I have plenty more about the different stereotypes and clicks at Bentley but I have taken up enough of your time on this questions
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
76% of students attending Bentley University receive some sort of financial aid.
12% were awarded federal grants.42%received federal loans. Many students do also need to apply for additional private student loans.
