Students here usually have very dualistic opinions which makes it hard to find liberal or open-minded peers here, very hard; and by now it seems that I can't go one month without finding out that one or more of my friends are getting married or having a baby.

Noelle

My classmates have high moral standards, high academic motivation, and are really fun to be around.

BYU is a very competitive school but it is only a personal struggle. Overall BYU is a very friendly atmoshphere where almost everyone is willing to serve one another and help a fellow student out. It is easy to make friends or find people in class to study with or work with. I have made a friend in every class that I have attended. People are honest and trustworthy and are truly genuine in the things they do and say.

Ben

Wonderfully accepting, warm, smart,outspoken.

Robert

Intelligent

Erica

My classmates at BYU are very focused on the classes and the material, but also believe in taking time to help a student who is struggling and asks for help. There is a good communication system set up for student use and my classmates use it frequently for support, encouragement, or to work the most efficiently on group assignments. It is very easy to make friends of my peers because everyone is so willing to reciprocate the desire for friendship. Also, the programs are set up so that you move the the major with roughly the same people.

Jon

Classmates are usually kind and helpful, and very seldom distracting.

Lindsey

Everyone here is extremely smart and competetive.

Josh

Most are very happy and grateful to be at BYU. Almost all of them absolutely love it.

Carlos

Conservative and friendly people trying to do the best they can and sometimes are too hard on themselves and too hardcore.
