The old students (before graduating year 2009) are nerds or ugly. The more recent students are stupid and an attempt, on the university's part, in admitting more attractive (and therefore, more attractive representations of the university) students. They're better at sports, popped collar types who are just scraping by. Those are the stereotypes anyway.
