I would tell them to look at as many colleges as possible and make sure that they have the program you want to do. Also look at the campus, the activities, everything and make sure that you really like the school. Make sure that it is somewhere that you know you will like and have fun at because if you don't like your school or you aren't enjoying yourself then it was probably not the right school for you. As for making the most of your college experience I would say do anything and everything you want to do. If there is an activity that you want to do but aren't sure about or don't want to go alone, go anyways because you will most likely have fun and make new friends. Also try to get off campus and enjoy the surrounding area as much as possible because you will be spending alot of time in that city and you want to know what there is to do for fun and you want to have somewhere to go when you need some relaxing time. Just make the most of it and don't regret anything.
