Since attending Malcolm X College, I've found it amazing. Not only is the campus well laid out, the professors are amazing and there are so many extracurricular activities, but I feel welcomed and at home when attending my classes. I feel the staff and professors have been extremely helpful in achieving all of my academic goals.

Malcolm X College is a City College of Chicago. It is a brand new campus that has become the hub for health careers. Staff is very knowledgeable and dedicated to students success. The campus has many resources to help students succeed. They have food drives, students programs, fun activities, volunteer work opportunities, transfer help, college fairs, a gym for exercising, and a Wellness Center, for when students need someone to listen.

In the beginning the school seemed to rough around the edges. Once, the school was redesigned and given a little bit of a culture change the school seemed to become to life. It is no longer down and dreary. The school has a more welcoming look to it now.

It is very nice looking campus. They havr a great friendly students they re helpful. Havent began the nursing program yet but they make sure you are on track on taking the right courses. The classes are small. Maby a little bit more lights onto classrooms.

A great, new facility with professors that students can connect with easily. There is an extensive library available with tutoring, and the professors all have office hours. Advising is also available to help track progress towards a degree or transferring to a 4-year institution. Since it is a community college, no on-campus housing is available.

I love it! It may be a community college but it feels like a university and every teacher and staff is friendly. Everyone here is helpful. I'm glad I chose this college. I feel right at home when I walk in. The environment is always clean, nice and organized. There's plenty of space for you to relax and study.

I like the school, and the teaching. One thing that I hate is the portfolios because even if you worked hard in your English class and you fail the portfolio you fail the class. Which is unnecessary and unfair because it shows that’s your hard work in class doesn’t matter. Which can discourage student to quit school.
The financial aid office people always have an attitude, and they aren’t that helpful. You can seriously be very polite, and they’ll give you a rude answer. Also, one of the securities gave me attitude when i asked her a simple question which was very unnecessary. But my advicer is very helpful, when it comes to helping me sign out for classes. All of my professors were very helpful when it came to me succeeding.

Malcolm is a great college to attend especially if you're studying to be in the health and science field. You'll have a great experience here. Everything that you need to take will be explained to you. They will never make you take anything that you don't have to. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
The first advice I would have given myself is to start saving money. The cost of going to college is not easy at all. I would have tried to let myself know that what ever I decided to major in that I should began to look for the best school who excels in that major. I also would have told myself more about scholarships. I never had a goood understanding about scholarships and how to apply for them. They are pretty easy and is mostly for every one.

Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
My school has grate instructors.they are very nice and they will try to help you with any thing they can, if you need more help they would stay after class and explain to you more different ways so you can understand.
They are people that come from different backgrounds, have different intellects, different opinions, insights, so that makes them and the learning experience better.
