This college is great for academics and activities! If you want a party school, I would go elsewhere. The food is great most of the time and the chef's special is usually delicious. The library and rec center are great places to hang out! They are a 2-year school, so are a great affordable option for your associates.

My experience here has been decent so far. Huge fan of the community college route with my credits transferring with ease and open doors to my future. Class sizes are small but that is a great way for us to get to know each other as peers. I have grown attached to the on site buildings and resources and rarely leave due to countless activities, food, and of course studying. Huge fan so far for those unsure or very sure of their future and wanting to give college a try.

I think that it is a great community college and I have enjoyed my time . I do feel as if some of the staff could care more about their jobs especially in the canyon building, especially the front desk representative, which most at CSI are helpful and nice. Other than lack of motivation from some teachers and staff the college is great

When I visited the college I was impressed by the culture and friendliness of everyone there. The buildings were nice and very clean. I ate at the cafeteria, and I loved all the food that I tried. Overall I got a good view of what campus life would be like at the College of Southern Idaho.

The campus is absolutely beautiful! It is in the heart of Twin Falls with many opportunities to drive out of town for the weekend to go to Boise which is 2 hours away! Also many food options and down the road is the main town street that leads to the famous Perrine Bridge.

College of Southern Idaho is a great school. Classes are the perfect size, you have lots of interaction with the teachers. It is also a very safe campus. There are also lots of programs that you can join no matter your religion, race, or ethnicity. Teachers are also good at doing their job and are there for the student.

CSI is a great and affordable to continue your education. The college of Southern Idaho has a variety of programs to offer, some that most community colleges do not. We are also known for our outside Challenge Course which is offered has a credited wellness class or elective, and can be used by community members. You can fill up your free time by joining a council or one of the 100 clubs CSI offers. Being an Ambassador allows you to meet not only current students with similar leadership interests as you but in coming freshmans. The main duty as an Ambassador is to give a persuasive campus tour and create connections with the individual or group. Besides the Ambassador council CSI also offers Program Board, Senate, Sustainability, and Diversity council. The College of Southern Idaho is incredible at giving all students and community member an opportunity to succeed. In the Meyerhoeffer building the Student Success Cente offers adult basic ed., college level ESL, GED testing, and many more assistance. Welcome to the College of Southern Idaho, Success is just around the corner!

College of Southern Idaho is small, it has a homey feeling. The campus is a great place for a jog, or a walk with friends. Often times, the staff under prepares incoming freshman. The professors are very educated, and some care about the students. The campus has plenty of useful facilities and gives back to the community.

My overall opinion of my school is that it is nice. They held a day where you could go make a stress-relieving stuffed animal, the consalurs are always trying to help, the professors are nice and seem to care. The homework is kept down to a minimum and they are always trying to get students involved to destress.

I very much enjoy this college. The student atmosphere is great, professors are almost always available, and the classes themselves are challenging; but easily manageable. Student housing and cafeteria services I believe could be improved. But other than that, It is an amazing school and one I recommend to anybody searching for a good 2-year program.

College of Southern Idaho is a great school to go to. I love the experience that I get going there, and I learn so much. Most of the teachers do their best to interact with students in and out of the classroom and I don't feel overwhelmed from too much homework or excessive classwork.

A great start for a college freshman! Cheap, Community-based, and Comfortable. It's cheap because it's about 9,000 in tuition and fees. It's community-based since it's a small school and everybody knows everybody, always easy to make friends once you do. It's comfortable because it's a place that feels like your own home, and you have an easy drive back in case you want to visit family or friends. Lot's of activities, and it's the three C's for me: Cheap, Community-based, and Comfortable.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for College of Southern Idaho is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would tell myself to not over load on classes in college, to stay active in extracurricular activities and to take pride in my school. I would advise myself to check the cafeteria times and plan my schedule accordingly; a smart mind cannot run on low fuel. I would tell myself to take chances and have fun. I would remind myself that yes college is a time to explore my horizons and is a place to make friends but it?s also a time to be focused and study time is absolutely necessary. I would reassure myself that it?s ok to be scared and feel lost but that I will always pull through. I would tell myself that no matter what anyone says sleep is very important and skipping class is only for emergencies. The most important advice I could give is that I am the only person who can make my decisions and I am the only person who can take responsibility for my actions so I should always make wise decisions.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I would say the only disappointing thing about CSI is that it is a two-year school, so for those of us looking to get more than an associates degree, finding a college to transfer to can become a hassle.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The College of Southern Idaho is a small community college. I personnelly like CSI for its small student to teacher ratio throughout the classrooms as well as the one on one time available with professors. CSI is a smaller campus but has lots of oppertunity not only on campus but off campus as well. In the CSI Matrix Building you will find individuals that are willing to go the extra mile for you if they see that you really want an education. They will work as hard for you as you would for youself.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I brag about how CSI is affordable, centrally located and the college community is a positive environment. CSI has many wonderful opportunities and also is a better learning environment due to the small class sizes; students receive a better one on one learning relationship with their professors. There are many fun free activities available to all CSI Students. I believe that CSI is a very safe campus and that everyone should attend CSI.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
The college of Southern Idaho is a great school for students who want to transition from high school to college easilt because the classes are small and the teachers are more available to meet with students one on one.
The low cost. I went to an expensive private school when I was 18 for three years. I am now attending a 2 year community college for a different program. The price difference is over 12,000 a year, and the quality of education is what you make it no matter where you attend.
I think everyone should attend school. I have been out of high school now for almost 9 years and I wish I would've done it sooner. However I feel more fortunate now with the opportunity to go than I would've had I gone right out of high school.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
For me the most frustrating thing about my school is my branch is located in Nampa, ID and I live in Boise, ID which are located about 25 miles apart, also the high prices of books.
