I really love this college, the advisors are very understanding and have always helped me keep track of myself, especially during the hard times. When I first started taking classes at this school, I was really nervous to be taking college classes in high school, but all of my professors were very understanding and it made everything a lot less overwhelming.
Michaela
I love the personal feeling of this college. The staff is always willing to help and they are always available in some form. This could be in person, text, or email. The teachers really care about the student's success. Also, the school is a little smaller than the ones in the area, makes it much easier to learn and ask questions.

Crowder college is a great school to start at to begin pursuing a degree. The staff is friendly and always willing to help when needed. Decent pricing is also a bonus for students who also have to work full time. I would recommend this college for anyone who is wanting to being a 4 year degree and transfer out at two.
Andrea
I started at Crowder as a Dual Enrollment student, they were easy to work with and eager to help. Anytime I struggled, the teacher were almost always available and wanted me to succeed. It had a nice community feeling at the campus and people were typically friendly. I made many friends and learned much. I loved my time at Crowder College and I am very happy I decided to attend this college.

It has a very good nursing program and many more. It’s a hands on college. It’s very educational and helpful. The facility is basically like a second family.

I think Crowder is a good school. Its not really a lot of diversity but nobody is rude to anybody. everybody smiles at you, you don't feel weird walking outside. There's lots of clubs to choice from. Everyone goes out of their way to help you. Also they hand out free stuff, all the time.

Crowder College is a great college! The class size is small enough the professor and other students get to personally know you. I always feel safe walking around campus by myself. The campus is easy to navigate. There are different clubs and programs to join.

Crowder College is a great campus for students who can't really afford to go to a big University. I love Crowder because I can use my A+ Tutoring hours there and have my tuition paid for. The only thing I have to worry about paying for is other fees. I also love Crowder because we are such a close family. The classes are small which is great because I get to be closer to the kids in my class and my professor. The professor's their actually care and worry about you. If you don't show up to class one day you are just a phone call away to them and they will make sure to call you and make sure you are okay.

Crowder College provides a variety of opportunities for many students, which is one of the reasons I chose this school to attend. Although it is not a big school, they still have dorms and apartments available on campus for students. The school provides an assortment of extra-curricular activities. Sports, clubs and more are available to students. At Crowder College there is something for everyone!

Crowder is a cool place to be, there are multiple hangout spots, as well as study areas. The teachers I've had were great (Get Erik Hilgendorf for Speech, if you can. He's a great teacher.) and very intelligent. The students mind their own business, most of the time, but are very friendly.
Amber
I would highly recommend crowder to anyone looking for a small college. I love Crowder because I feel as if the campus staff is like family they are always willing to help you with questions both on and off campus. With Crowder being involved completely changes the feel of campus for a positive. This school has been the best decision I have ever made in regards to my future.
Paige
My overall opinion of Crowder College is that I love it. I love being able to come to school and the teachers making each of the students feel welcome. I'm never afraid to ask the teachers questions because they are there to help us get through school. I know that If I ever needed one on one time they wouldn't hesitate to assist me with what I need.

I attended Crowder College at the Nevada campus for three semesters. My overall opinion of Crowder College is that I loved it! The faculty are very kind and helpful. I especially liked the small class size because you could have that one-on-one help from your professor if you needed it.
Laura
Crowder is a perfect place to start getting a college experience, faculty is always so willing to help, it is personal, you are more than just a face in the crowd, there's plenty of ways to get involved in campus life. It is not overwhelming and it is very safe!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would tell them that once you've made up your mind of what degree you want to go into, don't waste your time taking classes that do not fall into your degree. Also, it is better that before you enrolled into your classes, go talk to an advisor and preplan all of your classes that you may potentially take throughout your college years to achieve the degree you want because certain classes may require a prerequisite and others don't. College life allows you to have more freedom but you also have to take the responsibility of knowing what you need to do to succeed in all of your classes. No one will tell you that you have to go to class or make up a test or quiz because you are an adult now and you can make that decision for yourself. Be sure to attend class everyday or make sure you know what you missed and make it up if you really have to miss a class period for important reasons. Lastly, always ask the instructors questions because you'll have a better communication relationship with your instructors.
My classmates have been the oddest mix of happy people. Every thing from a very intellagent High School boy to a much older man who wanted to make a difference after the loss of his wife to cancer. I have had class with cowboys, police officers, single mothers, and people who have been laid off from factory jobs. They are all great and the mix is fun!
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish that someone would have let me know that if you are revieving a Pell Grant that you cant drop classes. I lost my financial aid and now i have to look elsewhere to pay for schooling.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
Crowder College agriculture club is very active, both on campus and off. The yare constantly working to make the community and the college a better place to be.
Crowder College is an excellent place to obtain your first two years of post high school education. The kind and compassionate staff are always available to help you in the areas you need assistance.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing i consider about my school would probably be that there really isn't any good activities that students can participate in, other than that I don't complain about my school. Crowder College might be small but the classes are just right for a student.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
The things I brag about most about school to my friends are about my fellow classmates and dormmates that I go to school with. They pretty easy going and fun to hang out. They also like to concentrate on school. The teachers at the school are pretty cool and helpful. If you ask them a question about a subject or thing you confused on a material. They will help you out. Those are really things I brag about to my friends.
