There is always something to do on campus, whether it's a basketball game, a guest speaker, or a party. If you're not doing work, something fun and interesting is available.

Warner Hall is an eating house of four and is the one I'm in. It's a fun way to meet other girls on campus that you believe you relate to the most and have meals with them. Most girls join eating houses and most boys join fraternities, however it is not necessary. THose who don't join are part of a different sort of group, such as the Duff/ultimate Frisbee team. Basketball gaems are popular but other sports are not that popular. There are many events on the weekneds both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Dance parties are a must every weekend night. There is some drinking during the week and on only one night, Wednesday, are there any events.

Lots of athletes

If you're awake at 2am on a Tuesday, you are most likely writing a paper or studying for a test. Everyone is so involved in many different organizations that at night is the time to really get work done. A large percentage of students are athletes and many are part of greek life on campus.

Social life is weak compared to other schools, but we have fun when we can.

Davidson is very much centered around the campus. There are activities put on by the college every weekend as well as events planned by the school's greek organizations.

Everyone is very active. There are a ton of activities to get involved in, ranging from sports, theater, art, and other clubs. The student Union does a great job at organizing a range of events for kids to do on the weekends if you don't want to go to the court. The court hosts the fraternity houses and eating houses (no sororities). Girls are allowed to choose the house they would like to join taking out the pressure and caddiness. I am a member of Connor House. I must say it is another plus of the school. The houses will throw parties on the weekends, while having seniors host students at their apartments. The social scene can seem very monotonous, but it is very easy to mix up what you do from weekend to weekend.

Everyone on campus is a part of at least one, if not a dozen organizations on campus. We have a very large percentage of athletes, as well as an active greek life. People do not really date on our campus. I think the reason for it is because Davidson is so time-intensive as it is, adding a boyfriend or girlfriend into the mix would not be feasible for many. People party usually three nights a week- Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. When it is nice out we like to go to lake campus and take out a boat, go swimming, or lay out.

The answer to this question is you are most definitely studying, writing a paper, or finishing your reading for your 8:30 on Wednesday morning. What do you do off campus? Every weekend I go off campus for dinner on Friday and Saturday night. It is a great time to get away, enjoy some different types of food and socialize with friends in a casual setting.

social life is very laid back. you can attend court parties without being a member, and the eating houses are very inclusive. The union has a lot of activites for those who choose not to drink. If you are awake at 2am on Tuesday, you are most likely studying.
