Being apart of a university is an amazing experience. I love being able to become a person that I am proud of. I want to be able to become a lawyer that will work with abused children and motheres. Eventually, I want to be able to open a homeless shelter to help those in need. College has created networks and long lasting relationships that I am so blessed to have found.

I have had a great experience at FSU because of the amazing diversity of the classes I have been able to attend, as well as the many student activities provided by the university. It has been valuable to attend this university I have gotten a great education thus far in my degree (computer science) and feel like I have learned so much from each class. I am also a very active person and enjoy sports so the two story gym has been great which is free to students. The athletic events are also amazing. I enjoy attending the basketball and football games whenever possible. I have had a great time at Florida State University, which is the reason I am strongly considering getting a graduate degree after finishing my BA in Computer Science.

As a freshman in college I havent had that many experiences, however attending a universoty like FSU has allowed me to open my eyes and become more acceptive of diversity. Attending college has broadened my interest to subjects I would have never even contemplated learnign about. With the wide variety of classes that universities and colleges offer, each student is sure to find their niche. Moving away from home to attend college has also forced me to mature a lot quicker than most who stayed in the same city. It has made me appreciate my home and all that my mother does for me. Although it has physically taken me away from my home, it has brought me closer to my mother, who has become my best friend, and to my three sisters, who i care for and talk to every day. Everyone should continue their education at a college or university. The knowledge it leaves you with will help you in your future and the experiences you have will provide you with memories that will last a life time.

I have learned how to better deal with tough situations that life throws my way. I have also learned what I want to do with my life and how to achieve it. It has definitly been valuable to attend because I now have knowledge in my field I would have otherwise not attained. I have matured drastically since I moved out of my parents home to a new and strange town because I had to learn just what all it takes to survive on my own. I love my school and I love what I have learned from it as well.

I have recieved so much out of my college experience thus far. I have learned how to live on my own, what it means to be yourself (and to create your own sense of identity), and how important it is to have a close-knit group of friends. I've learned that delicious (healthy) dishes CAN be cooked in a microwave and that, in times of no money, a trashcan with some caution tape makes a great Christmas tree. Attending my undergraduate college is possibly the most important and life-impacting thing I have done in my life so far. The education and worldly knowledge I am gaining is invaluable and the experiences I have had are shaping me into a strong, educated, and selfless woman. I am extremely proud of my acomplishments thus far and I know that my undergraduate education has laid the groundwork for success throughout the rest of my life.

I have been able to figure out what my goals are for my life from my college experience. I attended a big university for a year, came back home and currently attend a small, community college, and have finally figured out where I want to go in life. I learned my biggest passion in life - music - is what I wish to pursue and the field in which I wish to find a career. I am using where I am now as a jumping off point for where I am going to go next year. I hope to attend a four year school and major in music business. After college, I plan to travel, intern, get a job at a record label, and, ultimately, open my own independent label. My college experience has been valuable to me because it has helped me learn my direction in life.

The decision to return to college at age 44 has given me insight into today's competitive students and technology. I t has been valuable because it has inspired me to continue with my education, even after a lapse in my studies. I was laid off from my retail management job in January 2010. Due to the economy, I was not able to find a job as quickly as I would have liked. After being on unemployment for several months, I decided to pursue my educational goals once again. I have been thoroughly enriched by my first semester and even though I found a part-time job, I continued taking 6 hours this past Fall. After final exams were over last week, I am proud that I have gotten an A in both classes. This was enough motivation for me to continue until I complete my education!

I have become a whole new person because of my college experince. Not only am I more educated but I believe I am a better, more well-rounded person. I have learned from my experinces and the people I have meet. My college town has really become more than just a place I go to school but my home. I love my school everyday, when I go to learn and grow, but I also love the extra curricular actvities like the football games and baseball games. We even have a circus and all kinds of charity events to participate in. I have become involved with the community around my school for example Big Brothers Big Sisters, found a church home, and I have a part time job at a local restaurant. It has been valubale because of the new qualities I now posess. Qualities such as leadership, loyalty, and responsibility. I feel I will be a better professional in the working world and also a better friend in future relationships. I also have stronger passions and desires for my future goals. I feel my college has prepared me to conquer my goals and fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor.

I feel that college has opened my mind to an infinite amount of opportunities. I am starting school again in January of 2011, and I am more excited than ever to learn as much as I can. I feel that learning, especially in a college setting, is the best resource we have to bettering ourselves and preparing our youth for the hardships of the real world. I have greatly enjoyed the college courses that I have already attended, and the experience has taught me to be disciplined and dedicated to what I am doing, and to not let anything stop me from succeeding at my goals. Life has thrown me a lot of curve balls, but with the determination that I have to succeed, I am ready to face my hardest chapter, which will be getting my Bachelor's degree. I am nervous, anxious, and excited to start on this venture but, I can also use all the help I can get . Thank you greatly for your time and consideration.
